  1. Just about every Premier League club home and away for 2012/2013... http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/photos-and-videos/photos/barclays-premier-league-kits-for-the-new-season.html
  2. No matter how keen Liverpool are to sell, no matter how cheap the fee we manage to barter......there is still the problem that no-one in their right mind would pay his wages. The situation is known as your classic "Alan Smith". The only way anything will happen is if Liverpool accept a loan deal and cover a big proportion of the wage.
  3. I don't think the late deals tend to be much better than an early booking any more. Might save a little but given the cheapness of package holidays you're restricting your choices that late in the day for a negligible saving. If you go somewhere like Icelolly you'll get a good deal whenever you book.
  4. Read that when it came out and thought it was Llambias giving it the Billy Big Bollocks after a few too many.
  5. Why does he spend the entire close season away from Newcastle if he's home sick? I think people are trying to convince themselves with some of the batshit theories they make up off their own back. I know my Llambias theory is a bat-shit laugh, but at least it fits with the fact that we would be no more willing to increase his salary now than we were a year or so ago.
  6. Wouldn't be surprised if the whole exercise is being coreographed to get Llambias in a room with Carroll just so he can give him a shit eating grin and offer him the salary he was on before he left.
  7. I'm predicting no Andy Carroll at NUFC next season. It's a piss-take from our cheery chairman along the same lines as the Nzogbia bid, as someone else alluded to, it has the added bonus of taking attention off our other more low key (cheaper) business. No chance we'll match his current salary, and whatever anyone thinks of his desire to play for Newcastle, as proved by his departure in the first place, it doesn't outstrip his desire for as much cash as he can get.
  8. Very reasonable haircuts at "raditions Barbers" (sic)
  9. Think I'm gonna let them all air before doing them in one go on a hungover sunday after a game.
  10. Barcas is much better than The Firepit which it used to be.
  11. The first time I went to the Village Bistro it was lush. A little pricey but well worth the extra. Went back a few months later and it was garbage.
  12. Sadly I'm unlucky enough to have been born 3km away. There's no getting round that. Scum, pure and simple.
  13. Got family in Dubai. My Dad goes over a couple of times a year for the golf. I'd love to take advantage of the free digs and see the mad buildings and that. She wasn't keen on staying with family for a honeymoon though
  14. Off to sign the papers and hand over my finances to try and secure the mortgage to buy a house right next to Links Park (home of Cullercoats FC) tonight. Come on The Doves! Not literally.
  15. Aye, trying to avoid that urge. She wanted only 3 nights in SF, but I said no. Really want to stay somewhere for a prolonged period where it's actually worth unpacking and maybe having a lie in a day or 2.
  16. Probably both more about the latter....but not to a great extent. Not keen on a full week in some desolate woodland area where it's nowt but walks, or camping with the bears. We're just having a couple days in LA to see the sights and recover the jetlag. Then 5 days in SF as we (like most people I'd guess) like the 'vibe' of it much more. Got a small studio right in the centre with a roof deck for quarter of the price of a hotel. That's it for city life really. One third, the rest is all coast, woods, and desert. Neither of us is fussed on Vegas, I think we'll end up arriving there the day before the flight, spend one night. Looking at The View hotel in Monument Valley atm and i deffo wanna go there now like. Gonna take a poncho and hat for the Leone style photos.....
  17. Love Applebees garlic mash. One of the things I'm most excited for
  18. That's where we plan to spend the day between San Luis and Carmel. McWay Falls, Point Sur, Bixby Bridge, Pfeiffer Park/Beach etc. in a day. I'm worried it's not enough either, but we've not booked Carmel yet, so might stop there the night rather than moving on immediately...but then we also want to do the 17 Mile Drive and stuff in Carmel/Monterey, Clint is running his film festival while we're there so there should be plenty going on, but we're robbing Peter to pay Paul. Tourist Eye is taking a hammering trying to get everything in, dedicating most time to the best bits. Lush problem to have like I feel like Roberto Mancini
  19. That was my concern. I wasn't a fan of Dexter at all.
  20. She's not keen on Vegas like, so the plan was to take time out of that rather than Yosemite. Probably the way we'll go. We're spreading a day between Malibu and Santa Barbara, not staying overnight in either though , doing a couple of hours on the road after instead to stay in Pismo (San Luis Obispo) up the coast....more reasonable prices, quieter, splits up the driving time and a favourite beach of Donny off The Big Lebowski
  21. Forgot i actually came in here to talk about Bob Dylan. His new album has been announced as coming out on 9/11 (in US parlance). Worry is it's called The Tempest...Shakespaere's last play. He's taking the piss on one level or another...either out of those that call him the Shakespeare of his generation and/or out of the Dylanologists who'll say it must be his last album....either way...i hope it's not. Shite cover like....
