Like the sound of that 2j, bit dubious about a yank 'novelisation' of true events, but will have a look. On this note, anyone got any good resources for kindle versions of newer books?

Which Toontasticers would you fancy a pint with?

What's that list? I ain't part of any club that would have me as a member. -
That's the point like. Don't mind mistakes, but every sodding year there's a queue at the box office for the first home game as the invetibale load of fuck ups get rectified at the last minute rather than allowing any contingency.

I always try to be the first and the last person to get a round in when on a session, and as many in between as I can. Don't let it sway you though. Seriously though. Hate drinking with anyone that pops to the loo when it's their round. You can tell the sort a mile off. They keep their change in a pouch in their wallet too, along with about 200 receipts and cards they'll never use. From that list I reckon Renton has a change pouch -
But over 35 years, if anything the number of killings drop...using any weapons. There may be a spike in the last 5 years. it would be interesting to see the data, but overall the trend is for a fall. The argument you often hear is often that semi-automatic weapons should be banned. Hand guns and rifles aren't capable of causing the carnage you see in these sprees. However hand guns are still by far the biggest killers, even as semi-automatic weaponry becomes more affordable and popular, so a ban on the hi-tech weaponry will have little relative impact. It's also interseting that this decline goes hand in hand with population growth, so I would guess the number of gun killings per head in the US is dropping even more dramatically over the same period.

I know it's been thrown together in a day or two, but is it just me or is that video utter shit? J69 has done better youtube lip syncs in his bedroom. Up your game Adidas. ...though, yes, it's worth the Ennis ogle.
-
Do you think these things are more prevalent or that international 24hr media coverage ensures you hear of them all....despite numbers actually falling. Killings are down on all gun types and...and any other method for that matter.

Claire Balding expressed the disappointment that Adlington didn't win a better medal in her second (preferred) event......and the BBC were inundated with complaints and she had to apologise and say how great a bronze was.

Loved the olympics, but anyone that has used the branding phrase "Team GB" at all in the last few year wants shot. 5Live and the BBC have lapped that shit up. Fucking Don Draper, the cunt.

We wanted to get up the back of the corner and be a nuisance with standing, but we could only get seats in the yellow box here (moved from L2N)........ So we'll probably sit down like good boys.

Possibly...as the good doctor tells us, the line between quirksome and irksome is a very fine one. -
They're a bunch of divvies like. I changed seats at the start of June. The card they've sent is for my old seat. So I ring up and they confirm they have me in a new seat but say they couldn't stop the renewal going out in time....getting on for 3 bastard months wasn't long enough? My new ticket best be here by the weekend. Bell-ends.

I've watched the first half hour of Twelve Monkeys and had to turn it off. Think it's a Terry Gilliam thing. I thought Brazil was shite too. I had to leave it on as I never got through it, but I think it'll be the last one I go back too. Platoon is one of the ones I have already so Wykiki might get the nod here. -

High Noon Finally got round to watching this after being interested by Peter Biskinds reading of it years ago. Thought it was brilliant. Shitloads loads of Sergio Leone's inspiration in it. Bringing up Baby Not as impressed. Always enjoy Cary Grant and Katherine Hepburn, but it's pretty dated comedy hi-jinx. -
Exactly. Certainly better than Ray Davies. We showcased London in the year 2012 with a bunch of music by people old enough to have watched it live the last time we had them over 60 years ago. Tragic.
