  1. Like your reply What's bollocks about it?
  2. When the us and USSR were facing off we were at the mercy of two super powers with great military might that could apparently kick off any time. These days you have one military super power subjugating the globe to it's will and only a few camel fuckers in the desert with an ak each and some internet material being painted as the gravest threat to world security. Just go to your garden and have a beer in a deck chair. Nowt will spoil it.
  3. Some people read the board for a little while before posting for the first time. Would be good if more people learned the facts before wading into opinionated debate
  4. I was nicos papavasiliou....but only parky remembers the moniker in the first place. Not sure why it matters who someone was before. Particularly strange of CT to complain when he supposedly hates the clique. Surely new user names across the board solves that.
  5. 29,000 posts, how many graphs? I'd be surprised if there were more than 150.....or 200.
  6. Tried to do a bit more this week. Come November I'll be able to properly divert CT from starting one of these threads every week by getting back to quoting his year old posts that contradict directly his current posts.
  7. Never liked the Jeremy Claerkson lookalike tit. RIP
  8. Agreed...especially with 7000 empty seats at home
  9. I'm talking about the comparable qualifier to the one you're having a pop about though. Not that I give a shit...I do 1 or 2 away games a season, if I'm lucky.
  10. Sadly, not as much credit as I'd hoped was actually due in the end was it? Ultimately, in addition to my Villa bet that didn't come in, nothing from that lot would have come in if I had money on them. Close enough for me to give it another go this season though. I've set up my spreadsheet and after 10 games or so I'm going to place my bets based on who's had the easiest and hardest starts. Fingers crossed. Here's what it looks like right now without all the actual numbers to work out the averages....
  11. He's posting at getting on for 1am the night of the game, obviously had a few lager tops and worried that EFCs best start in Moyes' reign (2 wins) is starting to derail with 1 point from 6. I'm sure he'll "calm down" soon.
  12. 3 weekday away games in 9 days* No suprise if Everton come behind Maritimo and Manchester in the competion for peoples cash and annual leave. Says more about your comparative attractiveness than our away support. *4 away games in 11 days if you count reading next weekend.
  13. Someone tweet those articles at LM. He'd love to see them....but I've blocked the dafty.
  14. Last weeks football ramble did a profile on "the entertainers". While pedalling a few myths (debunking some) and not being particularly insightful its always nice to hear people talk about those times.
  15. Probably won't be keen on any 'view from the other side' post game analysis then.
  16. To have had 3 keepers like Given, Harper and Krul to inspire confidence after the less inspiring likes of Pavel, Hooper, Perez, Hislop...who am I forgetting? We've done well between the sticks for a while.
  17. Never saw the game but sounds like Mystic McFaul called it right beforehand. Too much caution in the first half. Showed what we can fo having a go in the second.
  18. We got 7 points from the same 4 fixtures last season.
  19. I think its clear the stand up wipers are in the majority.
