I'm ower the moon I've now won as many tour de France titles as Lance Armstrong. Didn't even have to live strong either.

Why should you come out of this without losing a penny while whoever helps you out not only pays full whack, but an extra sucharge on top for the privelige? The brass neck of some people never ceases to amaze.

sunderland v Newcastle United (a) 21/10/2012
Happy Face replied to The Fish's topic in Newcastle Forum
It was clearly late though. If he got there when the ball was gone and he made contact with the player then he was late. It happens in every game, but the decision on how recklessly late the challenge was is being argued. Tiotes foot could have been planted late which would have been much less dangerous and probably a free kick if he player that won the ball went over it. He could have nicked Fletchers toe late in a clearer 50 50 and it would have been a yellow. But it wasn't close to 50 50 and he went in at shin level, which means you can't complain about the ref not showing leniancy.- 756 replies

He gave a free kick for the foul on Tiote, so of course he took it into account, but its irrelevant to the fact Tiote went in late and high and desparate to try and win back the ball he had lost control of.- 756 replies

Have your poll starting abilities been revoked? Fill ya boots man. Admins aren't running round after you like your mam. On the challenge, all these arguments against a red carry no weight. Tiotes line of sight, his level of aggression and intent (otherwise known as the look on his face), they're irrelevant even if the referee could be checking them at the same time as checking if it was the side of the foot or the studs that make contact. Tiote was late, his studs were showing and he made contact well above the ankle. A yellow might have been a better decision, especially considering previous decisions in the game, there would have been little controversy about a failure to send him off if he was booked instead, but if any of our players were a victim of that challe.he every one of us would undoubtedly scream for a red. No doubt. On wether it makes him a liability we're better off without, I can't agree. Keane and Viera were mentioned, Ince had dreadful discipline too. These are players that win the mental battle for you by having the bite they do and letting the opposition know who is in charge. I said in this thread 5 minutes before he went that I was happy enough with Tiote going in strong and would hate to lose it from our armoury.- 756 replies

How does Tiotes discipline compare with the worst in the league? Where did he finish in the individual yellow/red tables last year for example?- 756 replies

This notion that an x-box makes prison a glorious holiday everyone should be jealous of is simplistic nonsense. Even Alcatraz had little earphone connectors in the cell that allowed prisoners to enjoy the radio.....but they did so looking over the bay at a city of free people doing anything and everything they wanted. Better conditions are used in prison to reward good behavior. To teach a criminal that avoiding misbehaviour brings a better life. A valuable lesson if you're hoping to rehabilitate. Much better than constant misery, which likely led them to a life of crime in the first place.

We all take a much closer interest, so pick up on more inaccuracies about Newacastle than any other club. In the context of the game, most complaints on commentary are about the red card discussion....which many on here agree was a justifiable red. I try not to worry too much about the commentariat being against us....otherwise you end up doing a minutes silence for a dead chicken foetus.- 756 replies

Whatever the short term arguments about performance and referees, long term its yet another failure for them to beat us at home. It will feel like a victory for them...because they know their place...and a draw is all they realistically hope for in these games after years and years with barely any wins. Another 4 points off them will do for me.- 756 replies

Daft to start the lad imo. The lift when he comes off the bench is lost.
