Without a warrant or any evidence of illegality the FBI launch an investigation, determine which computer the nasty mails came from, and which other email accounts use that computer. Turns out to be another associate of Patreus. FBI then check all of the mails on those accounts and also pull thirty thousand pages of communications from the original random lass to another General (Allen). Now they're in the shit. I wasn't saying Jonas makes him look better. Santon is quality. But he only played half the games last year. Drop him in the team behind either marveaux, Sammy or Shane when he nor they had much Premier league experience would be asking a great deal of him. He'd be bitterly exposed, fucking his confidence and perhaps sacrificing a multi-million pound investment. Simpson is an English right back who has played in England his whole life. He's used to the pace and the lack of time you get on the ball. He didn't need slowly but surely brought up to the pace of the English game. He's just average. Pardew recognised that and worked on Ben Arfa all season to get him tracking back too though.

People that wanted him dropped are tits though. Santon is looking the dogs bollocks lately. That's due in no small part to the assistance he's had from Gutierrez. The likes of Colocinni and Enrique buckled completely in their first seasons in the top flight. Jonas has been a major factor in protecting Santon and his arse would more than likely have dropped completely if he had Shane or Marveaux in front of him.

I'd like to see HBA behind Ba or Cisse in a 442, probably give Marveaux a run on the left and give Anita a go on the right. They're all going to struggle without a bulldog in the middle who is comfortable on the ball. The fact that poor Perchinho was the next best option on that front, after Tiote, speaks volumes about our lack of depth.
