I Googled and won't spoil it for anyone else, he's playing the wrong guitar though.

As predicted, the claim that Obama will move more to the left now he has secured a second term is looking dodgier and dodgier..... http://krugman.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/12/07/i-hope-this-isnt-true/

Every track on Mirrored is among the highest play count on my ipod.....there's only 2 from Gloss Drop that are gonna reach those heights. It's grown on me since release week, but never gonna be as good. I got into Deerhoof off the back of Runners 4. Thought the 2 follow ups were offering me diminishing returns and didn't even get hold of Vs Evil. Is it worthwhile?
-
Mirrored Man! Wasn't on my list and probably my favourite album in 2 decades let alone that one I really liked The Runners Four but never got into Offend Maggie or Friend Opportunity. Hadn't listened to it for ages, but had it on this morning by coincidence.

http://www.businessinsider.com/47-of-people-think-the-deficit-would-increase-if-we-go-over-the-fiscal-cliff-2012-12 It's a doomsday device put in place to force the two parties to agree a middleground. It would reduce the deficit by $607 Billion with across the board spending cuts and tax increases. It's meant to be so extreme that it forces the parties to compromise on less punitive policy. Unfortunately, the fiscal cliff would ONLY cut the annual deficit by two thirds. Merely slowing the rate of growth of the national debt. This is why the correct policy is to grow the economy, rather than throwing yourself off ever taller fiscal cliffs...as The Tories have been repeatedly doing for a few years now.

Over a quarter went for D. At least they were honest. Of the remaining people who thought they knew 1 in 5 got it right. Still shite.

CT popped into the thread and disappeared sharpish
-
Were the United States to "go over the fiscal cliff," what do you expect would happen to the National Deficit? a) Increase b) decrease c) stay the same d) don't know Without googling, what do you think? Pollsters asked this question in the US...and only one in ten got the right answer

Picaresque and Crane Wife are unbelievably good too obviously like. I don't seem to have any Wilco in any of my lists. Where's that rubber....
-
Oh aye, make mine a top 18 and add The Hazards of Love.

Precisely. The dynamics in the US are different to the UK. A hugely unpopular right wing government was blamed for the crash in the US, which allowed a liberal government to implement more left wing policy to rectify the situation....succesfully. In the UK it was a hugely unpopular left wing government (ostensibly) that was blamed for the crash, which allowed a conservative government to implement a more right wing policy to exacerbate the problem. Obviously it wasn't particularly a problem with policy of either incumbent in reality, it was a mix of decades of deregulation/borrowing as well as criminal acts by the banks/bankers that caused the crash, none of which have been dealt with in either case.

That's some fun shit. Amazed I'm just hearing it now. I have all the DJ BC beatles/beastie boys stuff and love it. Aquiring the Wu Orleans and Glassbreaks albums right now.
-
The only reason I didn't include Roots Manuva is because Run Come Save Me is my favourite and that's not 90s. Like the more Reggae stuff on Duppy Writer too. Saw Aspects live years ago, got a couple of their albums. They are canny. Strictly Kev (DJ Food) DJ Format is mint too. and I like Sway...but I'm getting away from the 90s
-
Do you need to open that up to sharing or owt? Can't seem to subscribe to it EDIT: scrub that. Sorted....Thanks, good work.
-
Undoubtedly, but it's allowed in Mind, I think PE have had at least 1 greatr track on every studio album since then too. Always something worthwhile on their albums. Just a bit more filler.

In case you don't know CT, Obama got a stimulus package in place in 2009, the bottom of that US graph. The UK didn't. It was a one off shot in the arm and I believe that spending is done and dusted.

Clearly not, he's a journalist after all, not an economist.

I was being cautious before any naysayers said it was a dog to run because I have just put it on. I've still not noticed any problems with performance either, everything has been pretty much instant both within Itunes and doing other stuff while it's running in the background
-
The Only DJ Quik I have is Blaqkout with Kurupt. Probably need to investigate further back.

Itunes 11 is fucking gorgeous. Don't care about performance, it's lush for browsing your collection, I could sit for hours on it.
