  1. If it's all a global conspiracy to make money, one that all governments and science and business are all in on, all the most powerful factions....then why has nothing meaningful been done to avert it (to milk the cow)?
  2. Don't think Chelsea ever offered him a role, he ruled himself out...in the same way Pardew ruled himself out of the England job.
  3. We don't pay bigger club wages though, which is the point. The reason he gave was not wanting to disrupt his family.
  4. He only recently knocked back Villa who are paying much higher wages to their manager than us. NEXT!
  5. Norwich paid 4 times Pardew's salary in compensation just to get Hughton from Birmingham, that's before you even look at his wage. Sunderland pay 6 times as much as Newcastle to their manager, as do Everton and QPR. Villa and West Ham pay 4 times as much, Fulham treble our managers wage. There is no chance whatsoever of us poaching another top flight manager.
  6. It's a question of squad depth and being able to cope with injuries. The bench a team puts out is a good indicator of that. The fact ours is full of kids, pensioners and crocks speaks volumes.
  7. Pardew is on the same money as Chelsea's goalkeeping coach
  8. Are there 10 teams whose benches were worse than ours over the weekend?
  9. That's what started this man... You've not provided any proof, certainly not from his time here...and you hadn't heard of him before he arrived (on a free having failed a medical elsewhere).
  10. Self depricating as it was, it shows you had no idea about the pedigree of marveaux on his arrival.
  11. How rude, after I've been so kind to CT too. You prefer mean folk?
  12. Gotcha. You might have been right to direct it at me though, these clowns included some ridiculous claim of 14,000 US deaths from Fukishuma ....and they had some 9/11 conspiracy bollocks in a previous report I found. Can't abide arseholes overstretching and tainting the other 90% of genuinely underreported travesties to spout the 10% of conspiracy bollocks that can't be proven. Stick to the facts.
  13. Aye, the 14,000 story seems to have been a peer reviewed paper that got a lot of blowback after the event. Seems counterproductive to include it all these months after it was torn apart. But it is only one sentence of the story. Is the rest of it bollocks too? There's links to stories of failed radiation testing and of the monitoring being handed off to the Nuclear industry themselves.... http://www.projectcensored.org/top-stories/articles/3-fukushima-nuclear-disaster-worse-than-anticipated/
  14. ...and as you clearly haven't looked at the actual site and found out who runs it, assuming it to be bedroom bound conspiracy nuts, here's who they are... Project Censored is a non-profit, media criticism and investigative journalism project within the Sonoma State University Foundation. It is managed through the School of Social Sciences at the university. According to the Project Censored official website, the organization describes itself as a media research group that "tracks the news published in independent journals and newsletters. From these, Project Censored compiles an annual list of 25 news stories of social significance that have been overlooked, under-reported or self-censored by the country's major national news media." That's a California state university actually researching the stuff, not some nut jobs doing it off the top off their heads. Walter kronkite says "Project Censored is one of the organizations that we should listen to, to be assured that our newspapers and our broadcasting outlets are practicing thorough and ethical journalism."

  16. “Andy's future was one of the items at the top of my agenda. He needs to stay. He is the number nine of Newcastle and is someone the fans have bought in to. The number nine shirt is legendary here and he has shown he's big enough to wear it. As long as I am here, I will be doing everything I can to make sure he stays. It would be a massive, massive blow if he left, but I am sure he will stay.” You'd thing what he would learn is just to play cards close to his chest and see how things go.
  17. http://www.toontasti..._20#entry922791 Man I LOVE Christmas Tree. Karl Pilkington without the innate sense of logic that backs up his idiocy.
  18. When are the 2012 accounts being released and will you organise an open top bus to celebrate them?
  19. Comes out every few years, some corrections made to the last one from 2007, but overall, still a clusterfuck. The report.... http://www.newscientist.com/article/dn23014-what-leaked-ipcc-report-really-says-on-climate-change.html

  21. You prefer 1 in 5 Shola? His 1 in 3 career record is ok when he's supposed to spend much of his time out wide.
  22. We sold a player for silly money ourselves the year before. All that cash never got reinvested mind.
