  1. Only when I met him on the dancefloor in Twist.
  2. Whey, not sure how normal the salaries of Pardew, Lambias and that are.
  3. No you don't. Just do the sum. 20 weeks = £1m
  4. The club employs far more people than appear in the first team squad.
  5. Never listened to them before. Had a go of Teenage to see if I like. Don't think I will be going. Bit like Best Coast. Not keen on those either.
  6. Pretty bad last year too.... http://stats.football365.com/2012/ENG/PR/ptsgain.html But better than than Man U. I think too much is being made of it over there.
  7. I posted a couple of graphs on N-O about it..... Top one is last season, bottom one this. I think it's preferable to take the lead and win. We did it 50% of time last season so no-one complained. Down to 25% this season though, so people start to loook for other things to complain about. Especially when we have gone from winning to losing in 4 games this year. But how often does the average team come from behind to win? There's a good article here.... http://www.eplindex.com/21020/down-1-0-half-time-away-how-often-does-team-win.html It asks, since 2008, how many times have teams come back from being one nilo down at half time away from home? 11 teams have not managed it once. Including Liverpool, Man City & Spurs. Only 4.6% of teams 1 down at half time won at Full Time. Newcastle are mid-table for recovering from being a goal behind. Despite not winning any, we managed to draw 4.
  8. How do other managers compare? Coming coming back from behind in 9 out if 39 games is just shy of a quarter of games which I don't think will compare too badly with similar mid table teams.
  9. I've ignored dozens of urgent emails and in the shit now. Getting off home at half past though so fuck it. The donations thing was just a throw away comment by the way. Didn't start the thread with that in mind.
  10. It's golden hat-tricks like that which mean CT owns all your asses.
  11. Exactly the sort of thing I was hoping someone would respond with. Cheers, bookmarked.
  12. Only what you can afford please of course. No obligation
  13. I've always found the all time top posters list a bit misleading. I think it should work alongside a year by year tally, restarted every season to see who generates most content between the first and last games of the season. We would be able to refer back to classic seasons. 2012 would have Been Wolfy's year. Remember the 2010 season when Danny B was the bane of our lives. Fops 07/08 was a classic year. etc. As it is, all I can do is give credit to the regulars with big post counts who will struggle to climb to the top of the all-time chart. Based on peoples start date and number of posts I've produced a table of posts per Day. Only restriction was, you had to have more than 1000 posts. CT takes his rightful place as the biggest purveyor of guff still regularly posting. ADP is the most recent youngster out of the academy to break the top 50 and still be playing. Keep it up noob. Aeris is also going strong having come through the reseves to eclipse Lake Bells Tits. Now....if you're in that top 50, and you haven't donated...sort yourself the fuck out and dip your hand in your pocket. Click the forum button at the top, then look in the bottom right corner to enter the amount you want to contribute to this place for keeping you so entertained.
  14. Look at this though man though... http://www.gigsandtours.com/search/?q=newcastle All shite.
  15. Embarrassing how Lee Ryder loses the plot the way he does on Twitter.
  16. Only tickets I have are Ludovico einaudi. Yeah yeah yeahs coming to uk which I fancied, but doubt I'll be arsed enough for the 2 hour drive to Leeds.
  17. I thought you had to have a TV licence for a PC these days.
  18. Vitesse Arnhem striker Wilfried Bony, who is rumoured to be a target for Newcastle, could be on the move in the next two hours(sic) according to his agent. ""In two days I will be looking to complete a deal. In the last three to five days [of the transfer window] there are always more clubs worrying," Francis Kacou tells Voetbal International The 24-year-old, who has scored 33 league goals since the start of 2012, is currently on duty with Ivory Coast.
  19. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21258729 Credit to Butland, snubbing the pay Celsea would give him in preference for playing.
  20. It's always been accepted Jonas is limited. His endeavour makes him the first choice he is. I can't imagine Marveaux showing the heart for the fight in that second half last night. Can't imagine it against Chelsea either.
  21. I did. To be fair, that's not saying he's finished.
  22. Point still stands. Credit due for his assist?
  23. Why else did you bump a month old thread with a pic of a thinner version of yourself then?
  24. After this place went down after the match last night I ventured over there. First time I've done it in months. The overriding view is that Villa gifted us the first half, nowt to to with Pardew, and that Villa had nowt to do with the second half, we just decided to go defensive. It's about as wrong headed a reading of the match as I can imagine. I'll not pretend Pardew had any answers to the tactical changes Lambert made, but deserves credit for at least achieving the lead that was ultimately unassailable.
