Can't believe the pass people give him just because he is superb at going past a man or 5 and is incredibly exciting to watch. Perhaps his ill discipline when it comes to fitness is the reason he is so injury prone. Less than 50 games and just 9 assists in 3 seasons is awful. Wayne Routledge turned provider more frequently. Little Shane must have 9 assists this season alone, right CT? I'd pay to watch Ben Arfa week in and week out, but he's clearly still not pulling his (corpulent) weight on the field or off it. More interested in having fun than winning games.

All about facism innit...that and the invention of a foreign threat to justify an invasion of foreign lands. As well as...."eurgh, they sucked his brains out.!"

Been wondering about the timeline...trying to piece together clues That's up to Season 5 Episode 4. In the opening flash forward of Episode 1 of season 5 (part 1) long haired Walt is celebrating his 52nd birthday with breakfast in a cafe which is a 30 hour drive east of New Hampshire (the girl serving asks if he's headed to California), that would basically have him back in New Mexico (non-stop driving like). God-knows if he has actually been over to the East Coast but he looks disheveled enough to have done that drive. The opening flash forward of the new episode is just after that. So it's a full year away from the events we're seeing now with Jesse and Hank. 4 and a half full seasons to cover one year, 9 episodes to cover another year. So I expect 8 months of that is "Walt goes on the lam".

I hope Walter kills Jesse soon and with glee. The whiny little bitch.

Public services are (I assume) much better for having strict grades and compensation changes that go hand in hand with it so I guess it would be alien to you. Certainly the civil servants that have transitioned into our company have MUCH better protections of their pay progression. The union in my private company are almost powerless to enforce proper pay grades for non-transitioned folk in comparison to public sector unions. It's frequently a case of being totally shit on when it comes to the annual review time. There's nowt stopping them from blaming the economic downturn for the lack of recognition...when they are laying off 10% of our team they don't expect people to complain about pay for performance going out the window. It's accepted and encouraged that you leave a company and go elsewhere if you think your pay is unfair. You see the same people coming back 6 months later as contractors on twice the money.

I think that's a trite cliche. It does fib on occasion, like when we finished 5th recently ..but that's neither here nor there because it's not telling any fibs in your example. For goals scored, we don't compare too badly to the teams you are contrasting us with. You're talking about how those teams set themselves up to hurt the opposition much more effectively than we do, but they don't hurt the opposition particularly more. Only WBA have an F column we should envy, but they had the leagues 6th highest scorer...Lukaku scored more for WBA than any of his peers at Chelsea scored at the front of a much better team. He was for them this year what Ba was for us before. The attacking table shows how we compare to the likes of West Ham favourably... http://www.statto.com/football/stats/england/premier-league/2012-2013/attack/full Where all 3 of those teams left us in the shade last season was in the defensive table... http://www.statto.com/football/stats/england/premier-league/2012-2013/defence/full -
That's cos, like I told you, Arsenal are a good shout for the league

Downloaded it through the week on the strength of it being Kermode's film of the year so far. Thanks for dampening expectations for me, I'll probably enjoy it much more now i have some trepadation. -
You're right to doubt me...there were 3347, over 25 days it's only 133.88 a day. I used to take work home, or work daft hours when I was a young mug Parky. I won't be doing any favours for "the man" these days though. Wouldn't have thought you were a company boy either.

Of those 3 examples West Ham didn't score any more than us. Swansea only scored 2 more, even with the individual brilliance of Michu. West Brom hurt teams more to the tune of 8 extra goals...but again, I wouldn't attribute that to any more than individual quality of Lukaku. -
Fuck that. I'm not checking 200 work mails a day during my leave, are you a nutbag?

In 90% of positions we have individuals that would walk into 75% of teams. Tactically though, we have no idea whatsoever how to play as a unit going forward. Our only hope is to get back to being defensively solid imo, at least we have shown glimpses of being capable of that under Pardew. -
Seething. Getting angrier the more I stew. Been on paternity 5 weeks and got a text asking if i wanted a promotion while away. I responded that would be fine, only if i got more money. Had 2 promotions in the last few year that came with a promise of extra money down the line but nowt materialised over and above the collectively bargained annual increases. Got back this morning to four thousand emails (bad enough), one of which has gone out to just about the whole account about my new role, not heard a thing about my pay though.

Interesting read on the Everton approach to scouting/buying under Moyes... http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/scouting-system-that-reveals-david-moyes-mind-8756011.html Does make you wonder about us. Whatever positives come from divorcing the manager from identifying the targets, it's just fundamentally wrong that he has no say on how to shape his own team. It's unimaginable Moyes would be left in our current striker situation. He was thinking 3 seasons ahead... We're just trying to correct mistakes from previous windows.

I'm just embarrassed to have them on our shirt. I liked brown ale and northern rock because they were local. Not so fussed on virgin but they are an internationally recognised brand and we need the biggest sponsorship deal we can get. I took the Piss out of the mackems when they got gala bingo or whatever it was to sponsor them... and think we have sunk to that level here. I think that is driving resentment more than anything else. The moral objections people come up with are all built on that insecurity about the lack of cache that comes with Wonga on your top.
