Thought they both had canny games. Think it's the first time I've seen Sissoko do the real box to box thing and I liked seeing him drop deep to pick the ball up. He ran at West Ham a couple of times which was good to see and at the moment I'm far happier with him taking the ball from the defenders than I am Tiote. He didn't threaten in the opponents half as much as I'd like, but hope he makes a good fist of it in the middle with Anita. Anita himself was not great first half, but was scholes-esque in the second . Always available and always able to find a team mate. In comparison to the massive courage of Manning or Snowden, I agree he looks a little cowardly. But in comparison to the average fucker like me who sits on his arse complaining about crimes of government, but doing nowt, he's braver than any of us. A part of me does want him to go to Sweden and face the questions they want to ask, as he could either : 1) be released without charge and be free to do as he pleases 2) be charged and have his name tarnished 3) be extradited to the US jailed indefinitely, potentially tortured and who knows what charges he would face, if any. 4) be disappeared A couple of those options would shine such a light on US misdeeds it would be an incredible act of bravery to fall on his sword. A couple of others less so, but would get him past this ridiculous state of limbo. I can see why he personally is not brave enough to risk the 3 out of 4 bad outcomes in the slim hope of getting the one good one.

Not sure where he get's my middle class credentials from. My mam worked in pubs, my dad digging up roads and then in a taxi. Worked all their life, but we lived in a council house on family support. When I got new clothes it was with provident vouchers. I remember my mam hiding us and telling me to be quiet to avoid some debt collector or other. For people that know South Shields it was just up Lincoln Road off Horsely Hill, proper radgie village. Free education (including university - which I could never have done in this day and age) has got me into a canny enough job. Doesn't pay that much, just enough that my only debt is my mortgage and my (interest free) season ticket credit card. I can save a bit each month, but only enough to get wiped out when i need a new car every 5 years or so. My circle of friends are pretty much the same as when I left school, generally tradesmen who went on YTS schemes and the odd physicist or musician. I don't go to the theatre or ballet or owt, just (pop) gigs and the pictures. I don't holiday in the south of France or caravan, i do the packages in Greece, the theme parks in Florida or tents. I'm staunchly left wing/liberal. Strong supporter of and member in the union. Not sure when i have given the impression of middle class tendencies.
