Is that all it is for current generation phones? I forgot you were locked into a specific layout/font on them. Never knew you can't change alert/ringtone though.

With all the celeb endorsements and pre-album hype i went in search of some negativity about The Strypes... ...but I always quite liked McFly and I had a great time turning Sanpshot right up on the drive to work this morning.

My Twitter/FB timeline is crammed with people moaning about how shit it is. "it just works"

The graphs track different things. One is drug/crime related gun murders, which is bound to be lower than the total number of gun related deaths.

I had a laugh at that vid, then clicked the fanzone one that was offered after. Gave me a good chuckle too.... "Still get rid!"

We've sold our player of the season or close candidates for it consistently for 5+ years.....Beye, Bassong, Enrique, Carroll, Nolan, Barton, Ba. By no means am I as worried about selling Ben Arfa as i would be, but it's going too far to say we should "drop this selling club bollocks". You can try to justify each one individually, but collectively, along with the touting of Cabaye all summer long you have to accept we're not averse to the exit of our better players in the interests of fiscal prudence.

It's like he's never even seen The Damned United. At least Clough went in at Leeds with a good management record to back up his antagonism.

We often start by offering an insulting deal. Barton went for free. Nolan to avoid one more year on his contract. Not a high price. How did we have no say on Ba or Enrique? Pay them more and they'll stay.

But this is the first time that any players have come in and deserved to keep their place. Jonas missed games last year and no-one made his place their own. It would have been great if they had made more of a competition of his place.

Obviously. But in response to CT, it is valid to compare early season and post window form with christmas, injury ravaged form, to make some inferences about the impact of failing fitness levels and the inadequacy of cover. It's not valid to argue, as he did, that one deflected goal that earned 2 points was what saved us 7 months before we secured survival by 5 points and better GD.

They weren't all against top opposition, but they were all premier league opponents. 13 games, 11 starters, 143 positions to be filled. Over a third of them (49) were filled by Williamson, Simpson, Perch, Marveaux, Ferguson, Obertan, Taylor, Bigirimana, Shola & Sammy. Say what you will about their merits, these players are rough around the edges at best. Their inadequacies are well recognised by everyone on the board. You would worry if more than one of them was in the team as they would have to be carried. We consistently played several of them. I have made the case previously that I don't believe Pardew in any way encouraged hoofball. There is a difference between allowing it and encouraging it. Time and time again, last season, we put in reasonable first half performances, keeping the ball and making a fist of it, and then we'd fall apart with a nervy second half, where we sat unbelievably deep and relied on hoofing it away inviting wave after wave of attack. Some people took that pattern as proving Pardew was making them do it with his half time team talk of negativity. I never ever saw the logic in that. That he would spend the entire week on one game plan, that would work, and then he would encourage the opposite in his 5 minutes half time chat. It always seemed far more logical to me that the first half reflected Pardew's week on the training ground with players and those deep sitting second halves reflected the players' tiredness and lack of concentration, which is especially evident in sub-standard players.

Guess they had already taken the order from that bint so are just delivering on it. The price of killing Jesse was that Walt would do a batch though...so they shouldn't really kill him if Walt has done a bunk and reneged on the deal.

I don't think people are wrong. Pardew IS a very limited manager indeed. But he's been doing a surprisingly reasonable job based on my expectations of him and the tools he's been given (by which I mean the second string).

I never said we did. Do you understand what the form table represents?
-
Hansen was on MOTD on Saturday and he was lamenting Crystal palace's insistence on playing out of defence against Man U and just walking into their trap every time. I agree with him they should just welly it whenever in doubt. Simpson, Williamson, Taylor, Ferguson is a back four every bit as poor as Palace.
-
Your criticism amounts to the fact he has no backbone and bows to stronger players, picks his favourites. Interested to hear examples of any performances you think were put in that should have kept out more senior players? There's been some clear examples this season. I mean last season.

Extraploating what might have possibly happened had we dropped two points we won in October and then laughing at me for looking at what actually happened in reality. Great work. I've not discounted anything. Current form tables can tell you a great deal about a clubs trajectory.
