Actually that's just at the planning stage at the moment. New Windows are due to be fitted in the coming weeks. Old ones are rank anyway and we've not cleaned them in the 6 months since we cancelled the window man because we couldn't tell when he'd been. It's more a good intention that's never likely to happen. But I didn't want to go into detail in my previous post.

I round up most transactions where I've had service. Taxis, haircuts, round of drinks, restaurant bill etc. But then I'm extremely generous As there's no transaction with a binman or a postie they get nowt. We clean out own windows as the local Sinbad is a rip off merchant.

It only needed 128 tweets and then 120 of them to be deleted. So that screenshot above of a single account (the one that did it) was all that was needed. There might be other accounts doing similar... But it doesn't look like this feels needed to.

Terminator Salvation Surprised reading back on here how many people found it decent. I found it really dull. It didn't make me as angry as Kermode.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wHhfowh36wA ..but I watched it at the end of last week and I've already forgotten most of it. Mission To Lars Annoying journalist woman and her filmmaker brother take their autistic brother to America to meet Lars Ulrich of Metallica, which he has been saying he wants to do for decades. It got well reviewed for being a heart-warming tale of overcoming adversity, but I just couldn't get over the cynicism that pervaded the whole thing. The professional siblings seemed to be exploiting the brother they rarely see in order to get the story/film that would boost their careers. The tour they chased Ulrich on came to Britain, did many dates here, but they needed a sense of danger/jeopardy/uncertainty to add some drama, so they dragged the poor bloke half way around the world to the West coast of the USA, on flights and road trips in unfamiliar surroundings that clearly made him uncomfortable. There were other small contrivances that nagged, like the sister sleeping in (and being filmed doing so) despite being told repeatedly her brother must have appointments adhered to if he's to keep his mind right. His resulting refusal to leave his home for the flight was equally contrived as they had allowed a full day before their flight was due. All of that said, none of it leaves a taste sour enough to spoil the inevitable moment when a dream is fulfilled which is a moment worth seeing, no matter how much of a cruel put up job the process has been.

I've sworn off drink for good. Match lads had our christmas do on Saturday and i had to leave them come 10pm because I'd had my fill. Was rotten on Sunday and have reached the point where the pain ain't worth the gain. I wouldn't mind if it was just the heavy sessions i had to knock on the head, but I had a cheeky (gin heavy) gin and tonic on Friday night and that one drink had me feeling a bit bleugh the next morning. We'll see if it lasts through christmas.

The mother in law puts out an impressive board with the grapes and crackers and that which i demolish with no clue as to which is which. She tries to tell me, but she may as well be reciting a knitting pattern afaic.

Was gonna say the same as MF but was leaving work. I didn't make either of the finals so can't vouch for the atmosphere at either personally. But we put the man u fans to shame in that semi.
