That WL tweet clearly says the bug infests the operating system to "bypass" encryption apps. I read it wrong initially too, so they could have reiterated what this meant, as many others did for them immediately, but they aren't inaccurate. Credit cards don't have 6 digit sort codes. They have to come with 4 digit expiry dates & 3 digit ccv numbers. The 22 character numbers in that record are called "bill id" and all start 436, are you sure they aren't unique donator id's rather than credit cards? Bank details are sensitive and should not appear in anyone's emails. I can't believe they would have been so careless as to email those about. None of the bill id's start with a 5 either for example, which you'd expect, being MasterCard. I remain unconvinced that's what they are, though I can see reporters and that assuming it.

The "misinformation" in their latest leak is something I cleared up in minutes, as Rayvin said. Do you have a link to the docs with cc numbers? Wikileaks still seem to maintain it was only the last 4 digits. I have no idea if full numbers were shared but I do place the value of the leak above the value of the cc numbers that the DNC has already lost.
-
Wikileaks responded to that gizmido article directly What evidence did you find within 2 minutes? We did discuss it at the time. My view was that the DNC had already lost the credit card details to hackers, regardless of WL redactions or not. The DNC needed to improve their security and inform their donors that cards needed renewed anyway. ... Though the redactions in the CIA leak suggests wikipedia have taken criticisms on board.

Democratic party policy of blaming everything on Putin and electing another corporate Democrat to be chair seems not to be encouraging the public that they're worth support.

In what sense? Is his liberty not in danger if he walks out the door? Have the government not spent tens of millions policing the building so he cannot "escape"? Do the UN not agree with me?

By Thursday we think we might actually have a chance and by Friday we think a win is nailed on.

No one is stopping you from walking into the busy traffic of the A1. The traffic being there is hindering somewhat your free movement though. The UK government has made everywhere outside the embassy a busy road for Assange. Hence the UN ruling. And on the deal... "I stand by everything I said, including the offer to go to the United States if Chelsea Manning's sentence was commuted. It is not going to be commuted until May - we can have many discussions to that point."
-
Still being arbitrarily detained by the governments of the UK and Sweden who the UN have ruled against twice in favor of Assange, if that's what you construe as hiding.

I went to Metacritic to obtain the universal acclaim rating I thought it surely had so I could be a prick about this, but I was dumbfounded that it's only got 52% The Hollywood Reporter - Ray Bennett The film is filled with deeply unpleasant and stupid people whose vapid speech is largely incomprehensible due to thick regional accents. That Yojimbo is shite! They talk weird! -

I was looking at the guardian music reviews last week and was amused that literally everything was 3 or 4 stars. They've gone out on a limb this week and started the backlash on Ed Sheerhan with a 2 star review https://www.theguardian.com/music+tone/albumreview Trend setters. -

Presidents likely aren't appraised of much of this stuff. Plausible deniability. The directors are chosen from a pool of military lifers well versed in work of the nose tapping variety and entirely convinced of their work being for the good guys, no matter what liberties are infringed.

you were so pleased too. You should get compensation for the personal embarrassment caused by your bragging on here.

Work hard and you'll be ok. Libraries? For free, fuck that, why should anyone else pay for trampy bairns to read? Close them. Disabled parents? I don't think government should encourage you to shirk your duties. Provide their care and finance their survival yourself and concentrate on upward mobility if you can otherwise. University? Hmm ok, at a push, but if you want that sort of privilege I think it only fair that we handicap you with massive debt in order to prove your fighting spirit. It's not as if we'll have a vibrant economy that will give you a good job to pay taxes on when you finish is it? Big Society! We're all in it together! And other associated horseshit buzz phrases!

Notes on Blindness is fantastic. Got well deserved bafta recognition. Life Animated is almost as good and was oscar nominated. Both are much more cinematic, but not as gripping as stories.

Selected by the president and cross examined by congress who have to approve the appointment.
