Aye. Attendances have been growing for the last 4 years running Individual prices are going up year on year though, so no-one could replace me in my seat on a cheaper deal. Expanding the family area allowed it a few years back so kids paid £100 for seats adults were paying £500 for. That sort of thing will have to spread further. Free tickets with a strip and all that gubbins,

Ticket prices aren't frozen for ten years. They're only frozen for the people who committed to a 10 year deal 3 or 4 years ago. I mentioned in the renewals thread, I'm looking at a 25% hike in price having not signed up to the 10 year deal but taken a 3 year up-front one instead. If you bought a standard ticket in 11/12 and 12/13 without any deals, then your increase is up to 10%.... Sorry for the shitty paint job. Anyone got the price grid from 07/08? Interested to see how much more he's charging than we did when he arrived.

They'd be big signings at 2002 prices anyway

The club even let it be known that Ashley handled the negotiations with Arsenal over Cabaye above Kinnear's head. "Fack off dahn the bookies Sebastian, we ain't talkin' abaht a mankey 'ere, this is serious wonga and you ain't got a fackin scooby! There's a good girl."
-
The same people that ever were. The unnamed civvies. Kinnear wasn't heavily involved in the logistics of the Kings of Leon gig, or getting the windows cleaned regularly. He wasn't ordering stock for the club shop and they wouldn't let him anywhere near the bar so he could clean the pipes.
-
What is? Not taking or returning calls, not signing anyone and not going into the office. I'm sure he can accomodate those tasks into his existing role, aye.
-
Saw similar texts when Wise, Vetere & Kinnear (Mk1) went. It's been just "one to go" since Ashley got here
-
I think it's lunatic to suggest he's even considering it. Having dragged the club unwilling through 7 years of shite towards minimal profits, he's supposed to be keen to sell as a new TV deal just gets started and adds £20m a year to his profit margin. It does make it a more attractive to buyers, but not to him to offload.
-
I think Ashley will be delighted that thousands of people are cancelling deals that had them paying 2010 season ticket prices. A few big signings in the summer he'll be selling out those seats at 2014 prices.

Not sure if it was Douglas or Bird who suggested yesterday than Kinnear and the lack of spending were an attempt to get Pardew to resign. Made me think about the win being dedicated to Mike in a whole new light... A surreptitious " SUCK MY BALLS" to the fella It's all conjecture innit.

Wolf of Wall Street Thought it was brilliant. The cerebral Palsy scene was hilarious. After this and Goodfellas Scorsese just needs to do another version of the same story with an ambitious young man who turns to politics (rather than crime or finance) to make his fortune, fucking his way through life, off his tits most of the time, ignoring the law and backstabbing his friends to survive. Could call it his American trilogy. Could base the story on Rob Ford -

How do football followers not have any inkling of the mindset a fellow supporter has? A mindset that says you support your team through thick and thin, one that has an element of pride in not missing a game in 10 years, 20 years however bad it got. We kept going after relegation we'll not stop because we're 8th and lost a few derbies. How can people not grasp that blokes don't want to go shopping with their Mrs on a weekend. They want to moan about football.- 10610 replies

7 games. 3 of those last 15 years Pardew was the one that struggled to 41 points and 46 points. In the 15 years prior to that we'd hit 50 points over half the time. Not "infrequent" to me. Don't get all pissy because I picked you up on the "bad day at the office" line. You sounded like Pardew trying to paint over the cracks in an interview and his performance in the last 7 games and the rest of the season prior to them is at odds with it. It's been made up of many bad days that he has orchestrated. Only Sunderland and Fulham have lost more games to bottom half teams all season. He had excuses last year. Not this year. -

In 7 games against Sunderland, Norwich, West Ham, Man City, Cardiff, West Brom and Arsenal we've won once. My point was that we're starting to dread going into the office. I brought the other games into it because overall we seem to have more bad days at the office than good ones. -

unbelievably we had 28 shots yesterday. 6 in the box that weren't blocked. 2 of those on target. -

No, defeats at home from Cardiff, Sunderland and Hull. Or at Swansea, Sunderland & West Brom are. Not that I see it as much of a decline. I was saying he was shite when we came 5th, that it was built on the confidence gained from generous fixtures to start the season. Everything was shite last year, and despite me giving him credit where it's due, he's still shite. Beating Chelea & Spurs on their off days have been the only flukes. Everyone wins at Old Trafford nowadays -

Bad day at the office? One win in 7. Five of those opponents fighting relegation. Won 4 in Nov, 3 in Dec, 1 in January. None in Feb? -

I've agreed with this view for 3 years but it does matter to some extent. We were relegated the year Kinnear managed us most of the time after all. Last year Pardew took us on an atrocious run of results over Christmas and he could easily have been sacked and it would have been a popular decision. Similar story now. Early season form has given him some breathing space but I can see Sunderland catching us before the season is over looking at those 2 teams yesterday. We have better players than half the teams but we're failing to hear them when we should. One derby defeat is a blip, 2 is unfortunate, 3 is lamentable ... 1 win in 7 derbies? Unforgivable.- 10610 replies
