No need for any further cloth cutting if crowds drop. Matchday revenue could halve and the club would still be in profit. Having signed no-one in 18 months it's difficult to cut any more cloth anyway.

Are you comparing these earphones by listening to MP3s at 128kbps or something? Even at 320 there's a noticeable difference in quality between free buds and a £50+ pair, even on a bog standard ipod without an amp. Upgrade to avi or flac and you'll have less on your ipod, but will REALLY see the value of those headphones more. Daft people pay £100 for earphones and then listen to Rdio streamed at 192 kbps and wax lyrical about their headphones, as if they're magically improving the quality of the music. Can't happen. If you have a good quality MP3 or a CD, the sound on the buds is like going to a show and everything coming from a pair of home speakers placed either side of the stage. Perfectly fine to get by with iyam, but the better quality headphones get closer to an 80 piece Orchestra being in your head, you can pick out cowbell right of centre or timpani to the left, the space between higher end guitar squeals and lower end bass rumbles is much more pronounced. They're more like 2 instruments being played separately rather than thrown in a blancmange together. Producers spend months in a studio on that mix and it's only apparent on good kit with good quality recordings.

Film/moving picture show you most recently watched

http://kogonada.com/ His site has many brilliant videos for different directors. The Kubrick one was my favourite. Highly recommended to watch them all though. -
I'll happily spend 3 figures on earphones but I've also happily listened to cassette tapes recorded off a badly tuned radio with a mic held to the speaker. We're putting every penny into the house right now so my headphones are all under £20. Still infinitely better than nowt. For me, the joy of a good pair of earphones is in picking out things I never even noticed before, stuff I listened to non-stop on a shitty pair of £5.99 supertech specials through university reveal something new 15 years later when listened to on good kit. Magic when that happens.

Mrs put a nice medium rare steak on a pizza for us the other night. Some might say it's a waste of a steak, but it was the best god-damn pizza i ever had.

Saw Osborne on Marr saying they'll extend the help to buy to the end of the decade. We've created an endless destructive loop where the government props up not only the banks that cannot afford the toxic debts they create, but also the people people with no choice but to join the insanity if they want to own their home. He's like a crack dealer running scared of producers that want their money and pushing his product onto addicts with free hits to keep them hooked.

Alreet, exagerration. But... Assume the same income from the league in 2012/2013. That leaves £3.9m additional income from the Europa. That would be £557k a game. So half what we get in a league game. Despite the crowds averaging 35,000 (70% of capacity) and everyone buying tickets rather than being covered by their STs.

As previously, Sports Direct pay nothing for promotion. There's a new agreement in place on NUFC buying goods from Sports Direct to be sold on.

Suggests corroboration of the Jonas story from Alan Oliver?

Why's it fair to let him off the hook on cup games being sparsley attended? That's his fault, they always used to sell out. Season tickets holders generally pay less for the league than they do for the cup too.

The £18m Ashley had planned to take out last year but didn't, remains earmarked to be paid to him this year. Bang goes Remy's replacement.

Also on page 2, the groups charity donations have dropped from £22,600 to £6,271 (72% drop). The evil bastard

Proper Accounts out rather than the headlines the club announced. View here Just starting to read now so will provide commentary if there's anything interesting. First off, there's this on page 2.... In 2012 we played 20 home games (1 in the cup), in 2013 we played 26 (7 in the cup). Income Per Game 2012 - £1.19m 2013 - £1.07m That £126k per game drop in matchday income is about 10.5%, but they're painting it as a success.

I'd end up buying a ticket to every game, unless there was a properly organised boycoutt.

Nah. Could get me and my nephew in L7 for less than what I pay in the gallowgate. Would do that if anything.
-
I've been offered a 7 year deal where I can opt out every year

Top story on BBC football? Might not? Danny Mills? So fuck!!

We'll buy 3 or 4 players in the summer and the stadium will be full of people paying top whack.

Whey, it's cheaper if you are going to go to EVERY game regardless, so cancelling would only put more money in the coffers and cost you as a fan.
