Heard that there's a lovely gift shop at the 9/11 memorial site. Those defending that argue there's also a gift shop at Auchwitz*. My reaction tended the opposite way "Why in fuck is there a gift shop at Auchwitz!?" *They sell postacards

Aye, spiderman and the dragons are in islands of adventure. Separate park to universal studios. Loved both of those too.
-
You've got magic kingdom where the fireworks are the highlight of any Florida visit, but Disney studio also does a light show in an amphitheater on water that's brilliant.

Proper LOL

The Simpsons ride was superb to be fair. But ET and terminator and men in black are all ancient.. and poor.
-
I thought universal was shit What rides did you like there? Only the mummy was any good to me.

If your staying in Tampa then Busch Gardens is an excellent park you don't need to drive all the way to Orlando for. Make sure to buy a multi-park pass to swipe in quickly rather than queueing to buy tickets at each park.

The Harry Potter stuff is at islands of adventure where they also have the spiderman, hulk, Jurassic park and cat in the hat rides. A must for the bairn. Though it might be worth checking the height requirements as refusal may cause scarring for life.

does your phone switch off its internet connection when it goes to sleep to conserve energy? something like juice defender will do that by default, buy you can set which apps should be allowed to bypass that. add spotify and you'll be OK.

Apparently, the current crop of little brats are self-directed, socially conscious, globalized, multicultural gender benders, keen to learn, they worry about the economy, think in 4D, have no spatial awareness, communicate incredibly quickly in hieroglyphics and worry about the planet. They're also obese, food being their main vice. Their social interactions and memories are transient, they don't own music, videos or pictures or retain letters, mails & messages. Leazes Mag will be pleased... http://www.slideshare.net/sparksandhoney/generation-z-final-june-17 Slideshow about appealing to generation z for marketing scum, but I was still interested.

The only similar fault I have (having not upgraded to 4G yet) is whenever I have wifi switched on the internet struggles if it can't find a wifi connection. It's supposed to flip to 3g automatically, but leads to there being no connection available temporarily and access drops out. I stream music using 3g whenever I'm driving or sat at work and it's champion though. Think I have Spotify set to normal quality, if you have high or extreme it might struggle.
-
Can you not switch off 4g and use 3g when running to music? Better coverage and I find it adequate for streaming music faultlessly. Worth a try anyway.
-
You pay for premium or get the free one? My current setup is to have 4 different players on the go.... Spotify Free - For discovering new music, setting up playlists of all new albums, listening to other playlists and music for the bairn. Google Play - For all the music I own on CD and this years releases I've decided I like. Once I decide I like something on Spotify, it gets promoted to here, if I still really like it after a while I might buy it. Old Music in the cloud, more recent stuff on my phone. Plex - Where I can use my phone or any PC to access the all the music I have at home, top flight or lower league. I can listen to my smart playlists and my podcast backlog via the Itunes channel as well. Doggcatcher - For listening to podcasts I'm bang up to date on. It's amazing how quickly I have gone from thinking the ipod was the greatest invention of all time and being inseperable from it, to it basically being a paperweight. The one thing i loved about Apple seems to be dead

Fixture list kind to Pardew ?? For those of us who want him...
Happy Face replied to accadacca's topic in Newcastle Forum
In the predictions thread you'll see my prophesy from May 2011 that Pardew wouldn't be sacked, irrespective of performance. Some of the runs we've been on since then vindicate that view, but his contract isn't worth shit to him and he's so low paid it would be inexpensive to get rid. IF we spend a canny wedge and are staring at relegation, I could see him being out on his arse after the sequence of games bookended by Chelsea home and Away, where he'll struggle to win more than one. Ashley has spent almost £20m a season and frugle as he is, he doesn't want money he could have pocketed being squandered. That's a big if though. -
The Great Toontastic World Cup Sweepstake
Happy Face replied to trophyshy's topic in Newcastle Forum
Thought my mighty imperearilists had done it again. Shame to blow it so late on. Still looking good though. Unless Belgium pick their socks up I think they'll have a chance of reaching the QF too. YOU ESS AY!! -
Its eclectic Can't see progress. But actually doing 3 runs in a week and looking forward to next week is progress enough.

I've got long legs like, i walk 2.5km of that in 23 minutes and run the other KM in 8 minutes. Any running I normally do I just go hell for leather and don't think about it though. This is brilliant for not being in agony at the end and being put off by exhaustion. I'm going to stick with it. I live 4.95km from work so it's the perfect distance to build up to slowly.

England’s World Cup hopes seemed to melt away Thursday with a heartbreaking 2-1 loss to Uruguay, which followed a loss to Italy by the same scoreline last week. Since the World Cup expanded to a 32-team format in 1998, no team has advanced to the knockout stage despite taking two losses in its group. But the Three Lions are still mathematically alive: The FiveThirtyEight forecast gives England about a 4 percent chance of backing into the knockout stage. Here’s what would need to happen; any deviation from this scenario, and England is out. Italy beats Costa Rica on Friday. This seems like the easy part: Isn’t Italy way better than Costa Rica? Perhaps, but the Soccer Power Index (SPI) doesn’t see it as the overwhelming favorite; it gives Italy a 40 percent chance of a win, against 30 percent for Costa Rica. (All probabilities are listed as they were Thursday morning; they’ll change slightly when we rerun SPI overnight.) Italy and Costa Rica are also fairly conservative teams, so a draw is a decent possibility. SPI doesn’t have anything against Italy in particular, incidentally; instead, it takes a more pessimistic view of European teams than other ratings systems, particularly compared to teams from South America. That’s looked reasonably smart overall. SPI was also down, relatively speaking, on Spain, Portugal and England. SPI was comparatively high on teams such as Chile and Colombia, but there have been some potential exceptions, like Italy. England beats Costa Rica next week. As of Thursday morning, SPI put the chances of this at 45 percent, against 26 percent for a Costa Rica win and 29 percent for a draw. Italy beats Uruguay next week. These look like fairly evenly-matched teams, but SPI puts Uruguay slightly ahead. It gives Italy a 33 percent chance of beating the Uruguayans, against a 38 percent chance of a Uruguay win and a 29 percent chance of a draw. England wins the tiebreaker. If the remaining matches in Group D go down as I’ve described, Italy would advance first with a 3-0 record, while England, Uruguay and Costa Rica would be tied for second, each with one win and two losses. England would need to have the best goal differential among the three teams to advance. If the goal differential is tied, England would need to have scored the most goals. I’m skipping some math here, but Costa Rica has a slight advantage in the tiebreaker so far because it beat Uruguay by two goals last week. So to win the tiebreaker, England would either have to defeat Costa Rica by two or more goals or see Costa Rica lose to Italy by two or more goals; a series of 1-0 results wouldn’t work. As I’ve said, the chance of this sequence unfolding is about 4 percent. England fans might not take much solace in this — or they might think it’s too optimistic given how unlucky their team has been in the past. But these odds are somewhere in the vicinity of those that an NBA, NHL or Major League Baseball team has of winning a seven-game playoff series after losing the first three games. The Boston Red Sox, who came back from 3-0 to beat the New York Yankees in 2004, demonstrate that sometimes the 4 percent chance proves a winner — and the Red Sox were once thought to have cursed luck, too. http://fivethirtyeight.com/datalab/were-telling-england-theres-a-chance/ Apologies for the americanness

did run number 2 of week 1 today and covered 3.6km already. I'm not sure that it should take so long to reach the 5km target... unless you're a spherical person.
