  1. You aren't even trudging through Ashley and Pardew... Your bum boys. Tit.
  2. Motd was funny and sad in equal measure when shearer and lineker were laughing at him for predicting relegation for 10+ teams. It was CTesque watching him use the show to garner bites on Twitter from fans of any club not in the top 7.
  3. I like the complaint about it being old data. If Rodwell had played more than half a dozen games in a year perhaps a more recent comparison could be made.
  4. No excuse for not checking your claims before making them.
  5. That's why you have to pay top whack though. You can hope that a cheap deal does the job. But your season could be fucked come January and then you're buying from a position of desperation.
  6. Mid table on chance creation, but in the relegation spots on accuracy. You can lob a ball in for Mike Williamson all day long, but the air shot that results is a waste of time.
  7. Every chance we can turn it around, but we've been in relegation form for over 8 months and don't look to have resolved that so far this season.
  8. Pardew has increased the number of shots on goal every season since he arrived. He's also reduced the number of goals scored year on year though. Quality of chances is poorer.
  9. How's it histrionics when we've failed to score in 15 of the last 22 games. Going close brings no reward. We might turn it around, but it's not knee jerk to complain about our failings in front of goal.
  10. Just got this as an unexpected present
  11. Only Premier League club to have not scored after 2 games.
  12. Pardew doesn't need to make his own excuses with fans doing it for him. Chelsea's new players seem to have gelled straight away eh?
  13. Failed to score in 15 of the last 22.
  14. Bench is changed though. Fuck knows what Aaron's has done to get canned instead of obertan
  15. Saddest thing about that pic is the bottle of gin in his hand. Horrible disease. Might be a blessing that he's out of his misery sooner rather than later and remembered as the genius he was rather than the sorry spectacle he became.
  16. Another one you haven't seen then? It's a classic man.
  17. Marty As a lad who married in his early thirties, last of the gang to do so, with a mother who pushed for the wedding but won't cut the apron strings I enjoyed this immensely.
  18. Did anyone EVER have any hope that Ashley would pay top whack for a "proven" striker?
  19. Its a 5 year old film. If it was next on your to watch list I'd be amazed. Bruce Willis is dead, its a sledge, Kevin spacey is keyzer soze etc. etc.
  20. A man for all seasons Quality performances. Enjoyed it immensely. Timeless story of how men of principal are vilified by the corrupt political class. Assange, Manning, Snowden and Greenwald cold tell you all about it. Crazy Heart Grizzled country blues alky falls deeper into alcoholism. I was enjoying it right up to the moment he goes into rehab. Had been looking forward to a real miserable ending. Couldn't believe it when it got all Hollywood in the space of 5 minutes and everyone lived happily ever after. Spoiled the previous 115 minutes that provided a more realistic look at addiction.
