I said it was in terms of brand. But someone moved it onto hardware/software. As well. Where it's not, no. Like beats by Dre, its a reasonably good product with a remarkable price hike attributable solely to the brand.

That's fair enough. But works both ways. So the premium brand thing isn't a claim you can prove.

But apple definitely say it does between their phones and charge a premium for the extra ram.

Which would add credence to the fact that more RAM gives better performance even on an iPhone... So why pay a double premium for a 6 plus when 3gb comes standard on top end androids for less than an iPhone 5.

I'm a total apple fanboy. I still use iTunes.. ...even though people slate it... I always have, it looks lovely and it works for me. The pain of changing to something else would be too much. But that's free. No chance would I put myself out of pocket to use it cos I know better is available.

I'm struggling to think of any. Someone might find something in the materialism thread. But I only tend to get a name brand for clothes or electricals in the sales.

And even if it makes no odds anyway... The reasonably priced option would be the way to go. I know it's a pointless debate. People pay £1000s on a pair of shoes for a name. Just bizarre to see normal working class men buy into that.

That's what I'm waiting to have confirmed. The one dim light of optimism for me is that the £111m remains ringfenced as promised and the money the club earns is spent within the club. If he starts chopping away at the larger debt the 5 years we've waited to be self-financing and able to afford better players/managers starts all over again.

You're not missing anything afaic. Most people got excited about the pebble 2 and a half years back but quickly realised it's style over function. Apple might be able to re-imagine it, but nothing I've seen suggests they have come up with remarkable new applications for it. I hate wearing a watch anyway. They all sit in a draw at home.
