Think their Hull statement posted by Trooper alludes to why that's not a good idea for them. I think SPDC have to be careful about who they alienate. The major criticism they received last week was their protest would hurt the team and it wasn't supportive of them to take the limited action they did. The majority in the stadium simply won't get behind going to games and looking to be a negative influence. SPDC couldn't know what 30,000 people would do, even if they all got their banners into the ground. In the event though, those who got past the stewards didn't boo or chant at all. They just did a silent protest for 1 minute which brought a spotlight on Pardew without harming the team or their chances of winning one bit. Think that's what they need to keep promoting to avoid being picked off like MAOC and NUST and left as an irrelevance. It's down to individual choice if people start or join a chant in protest. There were plenty outside of the 5th minute that were spontaneous, but not close to being as loud as they were against Cardiff. Think those will get louder without the interference of a website making demands on how to support. That's more likely to put folk off.
