It's not beyond the realms of fantasy to imagine he could leave that finance in place at NUFC and sell to a buyer willing to pay £130-£150m and meet the terms that benefit Ashley (continued advertising and Retail "partnerships") but remove the pain of managing the club.

NUFC profit after Tax 2013/2014 = £18.7m NUFC Net Transfer Spend 2014/2015 = £18.6m The fact that the club have pulled a fast one and inflated costs in order to report a lower profit is where they fuck us over.

Operating profit (before we sold Cabaye) was £4.7m. I remain (reasonably) confident.

I suppose we've gone from a club that would cut (accounting and real) costs wherever possible to move the club towards profitability on the books. Now we have a profitable club the accounting department switch all their effort to making costs as high as possible (without the club actually incurring any real costs) to avoid getting into a tax paying situation. Impressive if that can account for £30m. I suppose Amazon, Starbucks, Google etc do it with billions

The profit on Cabaye after amortisation was just over £16m I think.

I think there's a difference between fretting that he'll be sold 8 windows on the trot and seeing it coming mind. NUFC have got the best from him to the point where he's gone from being one we were worried about losing to being one few would miss that much.

Hopefully O2 will be added to that soon with three buying them. Not worth leaving giff gaff for me. But I'd upgrade if it would work.

Yeah, £10. Not sure most people realise the Margin's are that tight. Which is why I made the point about most people missing the odd game each season.

...and this information isn't on the club website, unlike 18 other clubs in the league who are clear and up front about which games will be in which of a small number of categories, rather than making it up as they go along. Out of the 7 lads I go with I think one has been able to get to every game. The point is to inform fans in making their decision whether to buy a season ticket or not.
