1. I'm only half way through it but it's a great book. Very similar to Dave Gormans stuff, written by Danny Wallace - His producer. I have been convinced to join him but I need ideas of nice stuff to do for strangers on a Friday. The best I could come up with was to go up to a stranger and give them a tenner but it'll get costly if I keep that up. If you were a stranger how could I make you happy tomorrow without spending too much?
2. Or having a bit lemonade in their pint
3. Attitudes toward smoking. The conclusion was that it's bad. It was a group thing and I did bugger all. I still have "works well in a group" on my CV though. And I still smoke.
4. work - Wallet keys and change in the left, Ipod in the right, Phone in jacket. When no jacket is being worn I sacrifice the ipod for the phone. Liesure - The same but wallet goes in one back pocket and every so often the season ticket goes in the other. If your the type to carry a chapstick I thought you'd carry it around up your arse.

6. Bloc Party - Silent Alarm Remixed It's ok I suppose. I only mention it because I know there's a Death From Above 1979 fanatic on here (can't remember who) that might be interesested in Luno which they're mixed in.
7. Not sure I agree with you there Rob. There's 3 pages of Dylan covers here Just because Steps or Bluezone don't cover Dylan I wouldn't take it as an indication of his legacy.

9. Apparently France is losing millions in tourism because rather than going there to pick strawberries everyones going to New Orleans Blackberrying!
10. That's not Tourettes, that's a recreation of the Simpsons episode where Bart creates Angry Dad
11. Paul Anka - Rock swings In the same vein as Pat Boones metal covers, Paul Anka sings 14 classic rock tracks backed by a big band. It's fucking great like. Eye of the tiger, Jump, Black Hole Sun.... Supoib
12. They pride themselves on being peoples first and third employees apparently.
13. My company offered me 3 grand to get people on our grad scheme but I wouldn't inflict it on anyone. I've been at my Aunties writing her dissertation for her. 34392 Whats the dissertation on? 34398 Attitudes to Health and Safety in a company, but she's got a load of questionaires back and can't come up with the statistics so I've spent a Friday night calculating Spearmann Rank coefficients and that for her. It's a non-stop party I tell you. I work for EDS. They're looking for 600 new starters. 34401 600 !!! where at mate? 34426 I guess it's for the MOD contract. North West. Sticks in my craw that they've spent the last year paying off (well paid) experienced employees and now they're bringing in a load of (cheap) grads. Guess it's the way business works.
14. Babyshambles - Fuck Forever Never heard it before, it's shit
15. He's a sell out like 34388 Selling out age 64 dammitt I'll burn every last one of his albums BUGGA 34405 He's only 64? Damn, the years haven't been kind. He did Amazons birthday party too He must have absoloutley millions hoarded away, he tours constantly so he doesn't have to spend his own money on his tea. Proper Mr Trebus.

18. So we're agreed then. Basically anyone whose ever held a plec is the best.
19. Idiot wind, blowing every time you move your mouth 34281 I know he's a great lyricist, he just sounds shit IMO. 34283 He does sound like a sheep when he sings, but I kind of like that. Anyhow, knowing what's in the top 10 for Last.FM from this board, I'm glad to linger outside of that meaty chunk of the curve. James Blunt?
20. Idiot wind, blowing every time you move your mouth
21. Are you saying Blood on The Tracks (1975) is overrated? Because personally I think it's a staggeringly good album as indeed is Desire (1976). Between 1976 and 1997 he made a lot of utter drivell, but far from being overrated it was universally panned. His last 2 albums have redeemed him completely though. In the 14 years between 62 and 76 I'd say he released at least 11 masterpieces. No-one else will ever touch him.
