1. From what I've seen I think he does a LOT of it off the cuff. Al Murray is canny and would like you to think he's clever enough to come up with the stuff he does spontaneously, but he basically goes round audience members until he gets an 'in' to his material. Ross Noble will go on for ages very specifically about a bit of cheese that got thrown on stage. He obviously has material, but it always takes second place to his train of thought which he'll follow to whatever conclusion. A very funny man.
2. Exactly. A man squeeking as he parts his hair is the peak of comedy as far as I'm concerned. I was making a serious point (not against anyone in particular - I purposely quoted no-one) and Alex followed it up. All of a sudden I'm a cunt for liking Coldplay, Greenday, Little Britain, Queen, The Darkness, Jackass etc. I'd be more of a twat if I decided they were shit all of a sudden. I'm thinking of the Darkness thread here where people said "I loved the first album but got sick of it". Well I love beer. It quite often makes me sick, but there's a reason I like it in the first place and that's why I go back, even if I got sick.
3. Jesus wept. I've never found the bloke funny. Is that ok with you? 58416 Christ on a bike, are you on the rag? 58444 Do you like Lee Evans btw? 58445 He's alreet. "Where you from? Where you from? Where you from? My kind of town!"

5. What a surprise, someones popularity is confirmed so everyone hates him.
6. Yeah, maybe he thinks acting like David Brent makes him funny. I wanted to scratch my eyes out with some of it. Friday, Sunday, whatever. It's all just labels made up by a daft monk.
7. Generally shit so far. The sailor was funny though.
8. Bryan Singer has been talking about Batman Superman. As reported on AICN...
9. "Women are nothing but machines for producing children." Napolean Bonaparte Edit:
10. Yes, it's Robocop. He's playing the man who got Jack into CTU in the first place, Kiefer is still in it. If the writers can shoehorn some Robocop quotes into 24 I think I might have to change my pants 58189 Time Jack died methinks.
11. I don't have a clue (armed robberies are usually about the valuables though, not race). It was J69 brought it up. I hadn't even considered it, which was why I responded as I did.
12. Meant to be out today. Any confirmation?
13. So you've gone from a gun crime directly to bombings and racism based entirely on location. The poor woman's died serving us because of a couple of low life's, let's not turn it into another racism rant thread eh? Normally when a person dies people offer condolences, even Eddie Guerrero got more respect. RIP
14. I thought it was meant to be a new origin story. Suuprised to realise it's not and happy to see them use the old music. Of course, with Bryan Singer directing, it will be camper than Larry Grayson's special guest appearance on the Batman TV show.
15. Flagpole Sitta by Harvey Danger. Wonderful lyrics. 57962 The album it's on is only £4.99 at BlahDVD.co.UK
16. If by 'isn't' you mean 'is' I whole heartedly agree.
17. It doesn't have any premise. Just 2 lads that live together. But not in a matey Men Behaving Badly way. They don't really get on. Like The odd Couple but you hear what they're thinking.
18. Aye it was, about 2 years ago. Now it's just the best comedy show in years.
19. Should be Wogans opening line. I'd donate a tenner to see him apply the slaps.
20. Immobilising horses to please children? It's a sick mind that comes up with this stuff.
