1. I'm still to hear it (except from myself). The press go on about the fans forcing him out. All I've seen in the stadium is support or indifference.
2. I imagine he probably had a few hundred quid on him. They aren't that daft.
3. Lose games and the manager goes. Win games and he doesn't. Common sense to me. Still don't see him lasting the season but yesterday was a good show. As was the performance down their place at the start of the season. I've said it on another thread but we need to play like that against the mediocre and the shite. Not just the big teams. Yesterday was a good day. Ower the moon.
4. Inspiring stuff... Howay The Lads!
5. See a doctor and that like but still A name change to oneball operator could be in order.
6. I love reading them. The stories are great, apparently the ladies love a man who can accidentally drop a towel.
7. Jimbo got his own place and was allowed to take them home.
8. You're wrong but your prose makes up for it. 66114 Silent Alarm is better than both FF albums but The Futureheads isn't. Decent Days and Nights is a hell of a song and Hounds Of Love isn't a terrible song (certainly not the song of the year as NME would have you believe) but it's not a great album and I found some of it rather embarassing. Haven't got round to listening to A Certain Trigger yet but it's on my to listen to list for this year along wilth Kate Bush and Kanye West. 66157 I'm not a big FF fan, but because they do quality pop more unashamedly than the rest they're the best of that lot by a long way, followed by Kaiser Chiefs. Stuff you can get your dancing shoes on for (pre-emptive to save Gemmill time). Bloc Party, Maximo Park (who I'm going to see tomorrow ) Futureheads, DDIHC, Razorlight, Hot Hot Heat, The Rakes and the rest are all much of a muchness (is that a valid term? ).
9. The Stolen Maddona with the big boobies?
10. Drill flashback The Big Lebowski, again - "That's a great plan, Walter. That's fuckin' ingenious, if I understand it correctly. It's a Swiss fuckin' watch."
11. You're wrong but your prose makes up for it.
12. The Story of Film by Mark Cousins. He's the bloke that used to present Scene by Scene and Moviedrome. Cracking read like.

Bargain PC?

Cheers Everyone. It seems you can get systems without a monitor from Dell. I got her one from Dell for £179. Bargain (I think) Intel® Celeron® D Processor 325 (2.53GHz, 533fsb, 256K cache) 1024MB Dual Channel DDR400 (2x512MB) 80GB (7,200rpm) Hard Drive I could have got it for £149 with a CDR rather than RW and without a modem, but I thought I'd treat the old dear.
14. Don't want to restart the whole George Best debate but I'd say Lennon and McCartney are as gifted in their field as he was in his, brought as much happiness but without any of the dirty linen. I wasn't able to string a coherent sentence together at the time Lennon died so I'm not sure if there was a brouhaha of George Best proportion, but he (and McCartney) should get the full works televised. British Legends. McCartney might be like an embarrasing grandad, but I still love my Grandad. No reason to slag him off because he says "cool" or "groovy". His new album is canny good, as was Flaming Pie.
15. Isolee - Wearemonster Some canny bits.
16. "keep your fuckin' mouth shut or I'll show you what it's like!"
17. I think you empathise with Wolverine and King Kong for exactly the same reasons. Both are punished for just being who they are. Life isn't fair to either of them (or should that be humans aren't fair to either of them). I can imagine myself as an ape much in the same way I can imagine myself as a mutand with knives coming out of my knuckles and bigger sideburns than Amos off Emmerdale Farm. I'm a bit excited about King Kong. X-men 3 I can take or leave, though I enjoyed the previous 2.
18. I like Sugababes that way too. Ever since destination. Class song. And I certainly wouldn't say no to hiding the happy salami with any of them either.
19. The Rangers fan I took to the match on Saturday wouldn't. Is this one of those presumptions like us wanting a Geordie manager?
