I like DJ Format. Is that not what he meant? Nosferatu the Vampyre The one played by Klaus Kinski, not Max Shreck. More watchable than the original, but still plodding and not frightening. Kinski does a spot on impression, but that's the whole problem, it's more a tribute to the original than a film of it's own. Like Gus Van Sant's remake of Psycho you wonder what was the point, other than director vanity. The score is great and it has some great performances in addition to Kinski (a young Bruno Ganz - who a lot of people will recognize as Hitler from Downfall - and Rolond Topor are quality) but if you want to see a version of Nosferatu (which I know you all do) I'd recommend Shadow of the Vampire with Willem Defoe over any of the others. -

Fulltime Killer I love Hong Kong action. It's every bit as stupid as American action but is well aware of it and takes nothing at all seriously. And films can be stupid as they like if they're this much fun. The final battle within a warehouse as fireworks go off all around is hugely entertaining. And there are constant references to the dumb American movies being parodied to enjoy. I think I even liked this more than The Killer or Hard Boiled which seem to have inspired a lot of the operatic violence. ...and at only £3.99 from CDWOW, it's steal. -

Blue Velvet - Fucking brilliant. Kundun - Very good. Rebecca - Canny good. Take The Money and Run - Not particularly good, but free, so I can't complain. -

Not my first choice, but I wouldn't mind him as manager as long as we can sure he'd be commited long term. What concerns me is if his wife is all clear or not. God forbid anything should happen to her, we'll be left in limbo if he needs to take off a load more time.

Never watched it. 92385 I must have been confusing you with Nicos Papavasillou 92389 That dick? Never. I watched Wossy and enjoyed it aye. I was disappointed he didn't highlight much stuff that isn't already widely available and popular here. It being on BBC4 I thought it would dig a bit deeper. Still good like. -

No, I'm not on a course. Wouldn't mind like. The only film books I've ever read are Easy Riders and Raging Bulls which has no theory, and The Story of film Which is a historic look at how film has progressed. I watch lots of films though. Bit of a geek if I'm honest. -

If I can enjoy a film on different levels it makes it a better film IMO. Just because it was blatant, didn't make it less valid. And I agree, anyone reading a BOOK about reading movies would be gay. Who does that like? PS - it was a sarky dig ...though I am superior tbh. -

I thought the acting was atrocious, but loved the ideas and the execution otherwise. I'm sure it's been discussed previously and resulted in me being , but anyway, spoilers to follow.... I wonder if most people that hate it miss the blatant subtext, The descent into madness rather than the cave. After losing all that she loved, did she actually leave the hospital? Is it all just a fight with her inner demons? Is it better to cling to madness if in doing so you can still interact with those you've lost? If escaping the demons meant you'd live in pain for the rest of your days, why bother? It had some cool gore, and was insanely claustrophobic at times. I also love a downbeat ending. -
Jens Lekman - Oh You're So Silent Jens. Best album of '06 so far. A strangely upbeat melancholy melding of Beck style samples and acoustics; and Morrisey style lyricism. Lovely stuff.

I'll not bite. Planes Trains and Automobiles - It amazes me that Groundhog Day gets all this credit as one of the great comedies while Planes, Trains and Automobiles never gets a mention, probably because it's currently more fashionable to praise Bill Murray than it is John Candy. The car rental reception scene is a classic. -

I've got a squire strat and have done for 13 year. You don't need to pay daft money, Robert Johnson's guitar was shit, and look at him. Brian may plays a fucking mantlepeice and look at him. Anyone paying over £300 for a plank of wood wants their head read. OPINION!

It might just be trying to install a component it needs. Does it ask for the office disk? As for the iTunes thing, do you get email receipts for the albums Johnny? I lost an album a while ago, and once I'd proved to them I'd bought it already, they let me have it again for nowt. 91665 More questions than answers tbh. 91681 "There are moooooooore questions than answers, Pictures in my mind that will not show There are more questions than answers And the more I find out the less I know." Who sang that then? 91690 Dunno, but it always makes me think of Bill Beaumont. 91724 Shouldnt this be in the wanking in front of your dog thread, or is that just me? 91735 I've not read that one, but i hope it's about wanking while the dog happens to be in the room, and not about cracking one off into the poor things face.
