I agree with him entirely that the relationship between bookies and clubs, the fa and broadcasters is too cozy. I think such relationships should be banned. You can't kick racism out of football while sponsored by the KKK. None of that exonerates him though.

Wouldn't involve West ham and the French if it was that. Has to be the deals for Cabella, Saivet, Thauvin etc. I thought it might be related to how the club reported those deals (which is why i went on about our costs), but it must be about how much changed hands in those deals and went in which directions because West ham and the french would know nowt about how we massaged legitimate deals. Good thing about that assumption is that it could be the agents and Charnly walks away with a fly in his ear. -

No idea. Costs (excluding wages) in 2013 were £19m. By 2015 they were £45m I've always found that odd but expected that all clubs massage these things to avoid tax and they'd have shit hot tax lawyers telling them how far tthey can go. It's also strange that we had the highest Agent fees of the last 12 months, even with our stong transfer activity. -

My mother doesn't read any newspapers. She's basically housebound. On disability, jumping through hoops to get signed off a year from retirement age. Since the Tories got in she's lost the home she owned, built debts she can't pay and complains bitterly about the wait for her hospital appointments and the lack of diagnosis and treatment and home care she gets. I asked who she was planning on voting for at the weekend. Tory. I can't get my head around it. I Asked what she was thinking, she said she like May because she's a woman and will be a calmer head when Donald Trump wants to start wars. Unfuckingbeleivable. Corbyn can't even win the pacifist vote.

If we're 4th and want investment in January to push for champions league then, like when we bought Cisse, I think we will likely gamble next years income on hitting the big money league, safe in the knowledge we can belt tighten in the summer if it doesn't come off. If we're 7th and want to push for Europa, or just to maintain a top half finish, there's no chance. Better to keep the funds for summer and have another go at it the next year. If we're struggling, then we'll still only spend in January the change left over from summer, if there's any.

Is anyone here still a hold out or has everyone been to at least one Rafa game? I've just moved offices and sit a few desks away from the lad that did/does MAOC and he reckons he's still not been back. While i admire his resolve I'm not sure what you'd want from any owner if not a manager like Rafa and an £80m spend in a season. Or double the spend any club has ever spent in the championship. I'll never buy a season ticket again while he's here like. You're always 4 cans of Carling from him telling Charnley to do something fuckwitted.

7 or 8 isn't a full night? Kids have had chicken pox. I've been running on about 4 to 5 hours a night for a fortnight. Never found that less sleep does me much harm. not sure what that says about my normal level of functioning.

If they were willing to derail the promotion push by failing to deliver a single one of the targets Rafa identified in january, I find it incredible anyone would think that it's inconceivable that the same pattern will emerge in future windows, when Premier league income is already secured. Get rafa off the wage bill, get Davy Jones in for the relegation battles.
