I wasn't talking about ex-pats, I was on about people born here. Commendable effort though. 174474 If I move anywhere else then have kids, they WILL support Newcastle.

The Writer/Director commentary on Amadeus. Apparently the most difficult thing in the whole production was getting the back end of the horse to take 2 steps back.

With the roads around the airport airport heaving so emergency services wouldn't be able to get through.

It would be sickening to think, so we can be grateful it's not the case tbh. 174201 Did you see the mentioned program I'm on about? It's not the case if you take Muslims as a whole group, but if you look at some subgroups (e.g. young muslims from deprived areas) you will find that there is a lot of sympathy for suicide bombers such as the 7/7 bombers. Besides, even if it was just 1%, which I would think is a big underestimate, it's way too much. No doubt the Dispatches survey had flaws (it was obviously underpowered for one), but I thought the overall message of the program was interesting and sadly accurate. There seems little hope that Muslims will integrate into this country like other cultures and this will mean we will have to put up with this shit for years, maybe forever. 174213 I never saw the program, but I read this article in the times. Very different to saying they would celebrate a succesful attack. The way you put it was, in my opinion, News of The World style sensationalist spin, that does no-one any good.

If 10 planes got blown out of the sky Rob would look on the bright side of the matter. Blair and the met would be open to a reet slagging off.

Just get yourself a see-through man-bag. They are gonna need to sort this out though - flights without an ipod will be canny tedious. I hate terrorist knobends. Get a proper job tbh. 174144 I doubt I can carry a weekends worth of clothes in a see through bag. Did anyone see that Channel 4 program on muslims? Sorry to go all LM again but it's sickening to think that perhaps one quarter of British muslims would have celebrated if these sick bastards had succeeded (although we need to wait for the full story etc....). 174147 It would be sickening to think, so we can be grateful it's not the case tbh.

Film/moving picture show you most recently watched
Happy Face replied to Jimbo's topic in General Chat
Watched it the neet. Was canny enough. Fairly disconcerting that Tom Wilkinson was doing an impression of Hannibal Lector with his accent though. And every major event seemed to be telegraphed 5 minutes before it happened too. But there you are. There's a German version of the story too. It's called Requiem and concentrates more on the girl, than the priest and the resulting case. Emily Rose is based on Anneliese Michel, a German woman who died in the 70's. Anyhow, here's the trailer... http://www.blairwitch.de/trailer/x_requiem.mov A UK release isn't scheduled yet 120256 Still no UK release planned though. -
tbf "Edwina's insides were a rocky place where my seed could find no purchase. " "Do these blow up into funny shapes?" "Not unless you think round is funny."

Say that reminds me, how'd you get that kid so darn fast? Me and Dot went in to adopt on account a' somethin' went wrong with my semen, and they said we had to wait five years for a healthy white baby. I said, "Healthy white baby? Five years? What else you got?" Said they got two Koreans and a negra born with his heart on the outside. It's a crazy world.

“Was that a pass? “ “Maybe. “ “Well you're out of line, mister... way out of line” “Heavens to Betsy, Birdy!”

I like "Gimme some tots"

I love The Sting. All I think of when I think back to Butch Cassidy is that cheesy bike riding scene.

I've been whooshed I see. Anyway, from one of my all-time fav movies: Kid, there's something I ought to tell you. I never shot anybody before. One hell of a time to tell me 173397 I'm thinking it's Unforgiven, but why's the young lad calling his elder "kid"? 173400 You've got the genre right. 173401 The Unforgiven line I was thinking of was "I ain't never killed no one before that, Will." "Well, you sure killed the hell outta that guy." I never really liked Butch Cassidy too much, but I love Katharine Ross.

"YES, YES, YES, you will, YES"

What a coincidence, Dylan just played that clip on his "Weather" radio show I mentioned elsewhere. Classic.

Do you tell them? It's what they need tbh

Theme Time Radio Hour hosted by Bob Dylan - episodes 1-11 The greatest radio show I've ever heard. Dylan is by far the coolest presenter you'll ever hear. The last theme I listened to was Flowers, during that show he referenced Chevvy Chase, John Peel and The Muffs. Todays theme is weather.

Can't believe I forgot the most quotable film ever! "That's a great plan, Walter. That's fuckin' ingenious, if I understand it correctly. It's a Swiss fuckin' watch." "God damn you Walter! You fuckin' asshole! Everything's a fuckin' travesty with you, man! And what was all that shit about Vietnam? What the FUCK, has anything got to do with Vietnam? What the fuck are you talking about?" "Obviously you're not a golfer." "Nihilists! Fuck me. I mean, say what you like about the tenets of National Socialism, Dude, at least it's an ethos." "Has the whole world gone crazy? Am I the only one around here who gives a shit about the rules? Mark it zero!" "Shut the fuck up, Donny! V.I. Lenin. Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov!" "Hey, careful, man, there's a beverage here!" "Fucking dipshit with a nine toed woman." "I dropped off the money exactly as per... look, man, I've got certain information, all right? Certain things have come to light. And, you know, has it ever occurred to you, that, instead of, uh, you know, running around, uh, uh, blaming me, you know, given the nature of all this new shit, you know, I-I-I-I... this could be a-a-a-a lot more, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, complex, I mean, it's not just, it might not be just such a simple... uh, you know?" I could go on, but the point is made.

Public Transport is generally excellent I find. I can get to work cheaper and quicker and enjoy a book or magazine as I go. Some of the scum that use public transport spoil it occasionaly.

I hit a point a few years back where the gut started to grow so I started working out and limited the drink to one night a weekend and matchdays. The gut growth has proved indefatigable though, so I'm back on a bottle of red 3 or 4 nights a week and a couple of full nights out a weekend.

Next time you're in the gym, do a few situps for me will ya? There's a good lad 173175 Sit ups are for people trying to gain a six pack. Much easier ways of strenghning your core tbh. 173180 Correct! People like me who want to get rid of their 12 pack and reduce a bit 173189 I read sit ups don't give you a six pack. Well it might, but the muscles form under the flab. You need to diet and do a full woykout to remove the pot so the muscle is visible.

I like Bastard. (After the Five like, but still)
