1. The pair of them got on his tits, and Neneh Cherry.
2. tbh I don't think many of those in my 10 are or will be "cool" any time soon. Mainly old Person music. I think Cut Chemist would be the only one 'the kids' would go for, and Peasepud has heard him, so hardly cutting edge
3. It's about this time of year that thoughts turn to what our top tens of the year will be. Let's have your nominations for albums then. So far my interchangeable top ten goes: 1. Neko Case - Fox Confessor Brings The Flood 2. Bruce Springsteen - We Shall Overcome(The Seeger Sessions) 3. Built To Spill - You In Reverse 4. The Fiery Furnaces - Bitter Tea 5. Cat Power - The Greatest 6. Howe Gelb - 'Sno Angel Like You 7. Cut Chemist - The Audience's Listening 8. Bob Dylan - Modern Times 9. The Ditty Bops - Moon Over The Freeway 10. Johnny Cash - Personal File
4. They were shit, yes. Which made the show quite entertaining. And of course Ant and Dec should present every show on TV, rather than just the 98% they currently do. "It's salmon!"
5. N-O "New Albums" thread already has 3 pages of posts from me on Dylan. I'll limit myself to this... It's good, but not as good as the critics would have you think with their spunking all over the shop, not in the least bit semenal or indeed seminal, just very good. I particularly loved the rhyme 'Gonna raise me an army, some tough sons of bitches, I'll recruit my army from the orphanages'.
6. The new album is class. EDIT: I'm thinking of Cut Chemist. HIS new album is class though.
7. I enjoyed it, but where the hell did the romantic interest come from? Should have left it platonic tbh.
8. I saw them the last time they headlined Leeds (Origin of Symmetry tour I think). They were unbelievably good. Loved them ever since. Shame Hullaballoo doesn't seem to catch that spark.
9. Is that the film about the South African gangster bloke? I never got round to seeing it when it was out, is it worth a watch? 186497 Most definately.
10. I used to love going to Planky Mill. On Monday I... Woke at 11. Stayed in bed and Watched The All Star Cup for a few Hours. Stayed in Bed and Watched Ice Cold In Alex. Tidied up and put The rubbish out Ironed a few shirts for work Watched Tsotsi Watched the last few hours of The All Star Cup Added 7 or 8 unsorted albums to Itunes and tagged them Watched Louis Theroux's wierd weekends (Demolition Derby episode) Went to bed at 23:28 and watched the On The Waterfront commentary.
11. WE ARE TOPOTHA LEAGUE SAY WE ARE TOPOTHA LEAGUE
12. all middle class kids (who else can afford the tickets?) driven there by mumsie in the 2nd 4WD TBH spend just HOURS getting on the "correct" gear for 3 days I understand some stay in HOTELS...................... 186392 I think you'll find there's plenty who save up and coach it/bus it/thumb it. You see more live music in a weekend than you see football on a season ticket, so the price is quite reasonable too tbh.
13. One time I went to Leeds and we were joined around the campfire at 5am by, who appeared to be, Del Preston*. Smoked half our weed and drank half our cans but what a funny bloke. The music tends to be secondary to having a good time. "TIMMY!!" *From Waynes World 2.
14. Tsotsi Another one to add to the growing list of films I've cried like a baby at. An excellent film I thought. Some people might find the ending overly sentimental, personally I love a good blub.
15. Far better than proper golf. I love watching golfers who're as shit as me.
16. Are you going then? 185850 No, I'm going to the pub. He's not as good as pure grain alcohol.
17. I don't approve of this DJ Shadow bashing. He's rather brilliant.
18. It's shit. Good fun to start with but will only play midi which sounds like a computer in pain. I'm on the lookout for some simple software to record my own backing tracks as MP3's. Will this Guitar Pro 5 do it? 185592 If you just want to record to mp3 use the standard recorder built into windows to record to .wav then use you're software of choice to convert to mp3. For editting sound theres plenty of free software to do that some will even record direct to mp3 aswell. I've used this one before and found it to be effective. Audacity 185607 Cheers. I'm looking to get a bit more polished. I had Audacity on an old PC. Only used it a couple of times. Canny basic as I remember and a bit fiddly. I've been using windows recorder but can only get 60 seconds out of it. I've plumped for Cakewalk Music Creator. Sounds canny.

20. I used Power Tab for a while. Is this any better?
21. This seems to be rather popular so most of you will probably have seen it. I'm out of the loop though so it's new to me. Can someone expolain how they did it? Quick Change
