"Your daddy's rich and your mother is good looking"..

Before fucking what? What is so hard to understand here? If you haven't had a relationship for 10 years plus because things aren't good, what is the difference between when they alive and not in contact and dead and not in contact? Fucking mormons! I'd have thought the difference is that it's possible. -
Telewest were always very good at the customer care. Hope this isn't the start of them turning to shit.

Looks like Phil Mitchell's old bird on Eastenders. Nicer like, but it would still put me off. Imagine the horror of Phil Mitchell popping into your head while you're rutting .

I reckon he knocked one out over them and is wracked with guilt. His hateful response could only be born of shame.

why do you buy your cd's from a record store? instead of a compact disc shop? Because CD's are records. A name used (I guess) because it is a 'record' of a live performance. I can get vinyl , minidisc or cd at the record store. I never said they weren't books either. Heve a venn diagram to explain my point of view.

ADAPTATION 9pm Five US The best film made about screenwriting. Starts as an intelligent story about 2 brothers who write for the silver screen, one strives for integrity, the other follows trends desparately chasing a dumber and dumber audience. The jokes about the dumb brother's concepts are brilliantly on the nail. As it gets to the end though, the film (intentionally) takes a turn towards the conventional. An unreasonably exciting last third involving sex, drugs, car chases and death is a nod towards Hollywood studio's insistence on 'fixing' a script, to the hack brother's burgeoning influence on his excessively 'artsy' brother and how much worse these copout films where the constraints of reality aren't considered in making it 'exciting' which drains any sense of tension whatsoever.

Yes, graphic novels and comic books do contain pictures as they are a visual medium. A movie is a visual medium also. So seeing as you are lumping both comics and graphic novels in together therefore movies and television go into that category too. You're the one telling us not to be so anal about genres and categories here. Why can movies, or books, be classifed as an artistic medium yet comic books and graphic novels are childish, throw away forms of entertainment? films aren't books man! get a grip. I never said comics weren't an artistic medium. All your complexes are coming to light. All I've said is 'graphic novels' are comics, and I don't read them. see my point is that you've got it the wrong way round. You say Graphic novels are a subgenre of comics and I'd say that comics are a subgenre of Graphic Novels. It makes more sense that way round. Why do you buy them at a comic book shop then? Rather than buying comics at a 'graphic novel' shop?

I go to me mams for my tea every Thursday and I go to my dads/the pub/he comes to mine every Tuesday. Get on with both brilliant, though I did move back in for a couple of weeks a few years ago and it quickly descended into a living hell. I became George Costanza. One thing that annoys me about my dad though, he ALWAYS slags me off for paying to go to the football and supporting the Toon. He's from the Isle of man and has never really followed a specific team, though he does like the game. He cannot grasp anyone lining the pockets of the prima donna players and constantly being disappointed by them. I suppose he's right, but it gets annoying when we're getting trounced and he sends a sarky text saying "Oh dear!" What a twat! -

Interesting this one Jimbo...I remember you claiming on here previously that you were fundementally selfish despite having a wife and kids. Sins of the father...? Your thoughts please. HHmm maybe, to be fair, I'd say I was not very thoughtful rather than fundementally selfish, I do have elements of selfishness but I do my best to snap out of it when I can, although I do see traits of my father in me I do try and irradicate them as soon as they are recognised. Yeah sorry mate I was just parahphrasing from memory. It's interesting stuff like as I can start to see my parents' influence in me as I get towards the three and zero. "it is in the humble opinion of this narrator that this is not just "Something That Happened." This cannot be "One of those things..."" -
On a top trump card she'd score higher on power and range, but that's the fine thing about taste (the thread), it allows for the oxymoron where better isn't always best. It's called the Celine Dion paradox.

I like the imagery of "a floppy doll covered with spunk".

Gemmil ?? In answer to the question in the topic. You've handily provided evidence to your severely damaged aural taste buds. The lass off X-Factor is a better singer than Bob Dylan. To argue otherwise is just daft tbh. I like Bob Dylan, and his voice suits his songs, but he's not a good singer. He's a perfectly fine singer. Miles better than not good. I'd rather listen to him than her.

1. I keep getting excruciating stabbing pains in my small intestine. Agony it is. Been a fortnight now. 2. I've broken 2 tape measures in one day. 3. After watching Raw last night I made myself some welfare burgers on square wonder bread for tea. Lush. 4. I've got 24 stella and a hip flask of whisky for the Wigan trip tomorrow. I'm going to get blootered. 5. My mobile phone bills have doubled now I've got tv and internet access on there.

Isn't Winnie the Pooh written in prose? Like most kids books, illustarions are included because kids like pictures and it helps them imagine what's being described, you could still read it without the pictures. A comic tells a story in it's pictures.
