Was meant to be getting turned into a film directed by Michael Mann, but seems to have slipped off the radar. He went and did Collateral instead.

Snakes On A Plane If Graham Lister can get 3 laughs from lard, why couldn't this multi million dollar production manage as many? I think there were 2 chuckles and half a grin, but generraly it was unmitigated shite. And it's not so bad it's good either, that can't be achieved by targetting it. A film needs to be completeley earnest to be laughed AT. This wants you to laugh with it, but there's fuck all there to allow you to. EDIT: "GENERRALY"??? WTF? EDIT2: targetting?? completeley?? Christ almighty. -

Roeder: No one could have done better than me!
Happy Face replied to Scottish Mag's topic in Newcastle Forum
It's true, there's hardly a position on the park where I know who Roeder's first choice is. If it's any comfort he doesn't either. 'comfort' isn't quite the word. -
No offence mate, and I know it's easy to have a go at Lampard; but how exactly was he any worse than Gerrard last night? Watching the under 21's and there's no reason why Bentley shouldn't be in the full squad, especially when Joe Cole is missing. It's about time we took the risk on him IMO Never watched it myself, but 5live's commentators were suggesting Gerrard was the only one who could be excused a slating last night, reckoned he was the only one who made anything happen.

To be fair, he may be at almost full strength now, but only 3 players have managed to play more than two thirds of the games this season. Even though most players are now fit, a squad that fractured throughout the season is going to struggle to play fluid, attractive football. He never bleated on about the injuries while we were getting results (for a short while) but he's trotting it out a bit much now like, just pipe down and concentrate on settling on a first 11 with quality back up, rather than a random selection for every position but goalkeeper. -

Typical yawnsome anti-american twaddle. Anti-evangelical maybe. I'd previously enjoyed the other superman films and Spiderman, Batman etc, so how am I anti-American? Do you disagree that there is a tren towards increasing christianity in America that is reflected in its media? That is the yawnsome twaddle imo. Happy Face: as for superman always being a christian allegory, that's news to me. I don't see it in the other films or in the comics. 'tis a common theory... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superman -

Superman was the original Christ allegory tbf. Being how Jesus is a "super man" sent to save humanity. If we're all Gods children, whats so special about Jesus? [/ Jimmy Carr] His laser eye ray. -
You must have requesrted that they come in one bundle to save money....and one of them is out of stock. Worth a new thread that like.

LCD Soundsystem - New York I Love You Absoloutley gorgeous song, and not what you'd expect of him. Full of great lyrics, my favourite of which would have to be "New York i love you but you're freaking me out, there's a ton of the twist but we're fresh out of shout".

How did you approach Barclays about the fees ? did you know how much they had over charged you ?? Letter 1: Ask for a list of all charges on my account (in accordance with the DPA) and enclose a cheque for £10 to cover admin (which they sent back and didn't cash). see template letter here Letter 2: Add up the charges and ask for your money (either including interest or not). see template letter here (same page, just lower down). If you don't hear from them within 14 days, ring them. half hour job. Tops. I just bought this Toshiba 32WLT66 32" Widescreen Pictureframe HD Ready LCD TV - With Freeview http://www.amazon.co.uk/Toshiba-32WLT66-Wi...0997&sr=8-1

Dunno if you've got it, but there's a 3gig torrent available of MF Doom's entire back catalogue. Lot's of very average stuff, but a few canny remixes of Madvillainy are included. Found a blog with a load of MF Doom stuff, Here, what you recommend to get? Christ! Most of that is different to what's in the Torrent. Only recognise the DJ Food Stamp collection (which is well worth it) and Nastradoomus (which I've not got through yet). None of the links seem to work though

Your entire collection, in all fairness. Very funny. Xzibit - Strong Arm Steady. The only album I own that I haven't listened to all of it. It's that fucking cack. Shame as he used to be great, but became the epitome of the very genre he was standing against in his early days. Ex to the mutha fuckin zee was never GREAT tbh
