  1. I'll be downloading the new St. Trinians film.... More
  2. Just heard her on MOTD2. Seems like she's still in radio mode. There's a shorter delay watching the video stream on t'interwebs and listening to radio Newcastle.
  3. Probably because she couldn't see anything, sat behind you. That would be preferable to watching the drivell tbh.
  4. atmosphere must come across very different, as we were usually loud today and the team got plenty of support, where as the Chelsea fans were the same as their team just not up for it Felt sorry for the fat bastard. joined in of course.
  5. It's depressing that we CAN play like that, but haven't. Players putting on a show for the cameras? Roeder unable to motivate the team for the smaller teams? Either way, as happy as I was today, I feel cheated on the season as a whole knowing that we can match "the best".
  6. http://www.viewimages.com/Search.aspx?mid=...Jacqui%20Oatley Can't be as annoying as the woman who sat behind me shouting nothing but "Come On Newcastiiiiil!" for 4 years. She never renewed this year
  7. I always loved Big Suze. She was in Harry Enfield (which is shite btw) this week and she was gorgeous....but in this weeks episode she was the most annoying bitch I've ever seen. That voice just grated on me. And Johnson seemed to be over egging the pudding somewhat as well. David Mitchell is still as good as ever though, and as long as he's this hilarious the show should continue. His James Bond neutrality was perfect.
  8. http://www.gigwise.com/news.asp?contentid=30689 Now she wants Toonraider's beau to die. Christ I hate the bitch.

  10. Chris Rock's bit about niggers fucking things up for black people is brilliant.
  11. Lone nutter? Yeah, right. It's a government conspiracy to heighten fear. [/Parky]
  12. Mark Ronson - Apply Some Pressure Shite. Hate that smoggies voice with a passion now. Moved back to Toxic featuring Ol' Dirty Bastard which is sublime.
  13. Still hasn't beaten the points total that took West Ham down though tbh.
  14. I'm having a struggle deciding what to do. Do I apply for a seat closer to the action or stay where I am? I get the impression the top of the Leazes is one of the few places you get a bit of singing no matter how shit it is on the pitch. If it wasn't for the 'banter' this season, it would've been unbearable.
  15. Mark Ronson - God Put A Smile On Your Face
  16. Spoilers for tonights episode.... * Johnny Sack learns he has three months to live, thanks to the cancer that has spread throughout his body. Though he recently gave up smoking, he spent 38 years sucking in the sweet sweet tobacco. * Johnny doesn’t disclose his dire condition to his wife and daughter. But he does take up smoking again. * Christophuh is sober again, and doesn’t pal around with the gang as much because he doesn’t want to be tempted. The gang interprets his absences to mean he’s too much the movie-producer bigshot to hang out. * Phil Leotardo, still recovering from a quadruple bypass, considers who will take over the New York family. * As “Cleaver,” starring Daniel Baldwin, screens, Paulie Walnuts (now cancer-free) won’t turn off his cell. When the character based on Christophuh kills the character based on Tony, Tony grows increasingly suspicious of Christophuh. Tony cries in Dr. Melfi’s office about Christophuh’s lack of gratitude. * As Silvio discusses business with Phil Leotardo’s new heir apparent inside a club, the new boss is gunned down by rivals. * Word comes that Johnny Sack is dead too. * Tony serves as Godfather at the christening of Christophuh’s baby. As Tony and Christophuh both seem to be reminded that Michael Corleone served as Godfather to Paulie Gatto’s baby. Love the Godfather connection.
  17. My brother just had a baby boy on Tuesday Baby Ben... Uncle Face is over the moon.
  18. SATURDAY 14TH APRIL WEIRD SCIENCE 9pm E4 Very funny film. That bit where they're in the club and the white nerd does his stoned negro bit is hilarious. VANILLA SKY 9pm Film4 I was lost to be honest, but that bit at the start with the empty streets and the underworld tune is class. BACK TO THE FUTURE PART III 9.40pm ITV2 "Great Scott!" THE PASSENGER 10pm Five US I watched this when I was pissed and thought it was shite, but was still impressed by the continuous shot in and out of the window. It's held in VERY high esteeem by other people who know what they're on about. TORN CURTAIN 1.20am Film4 I've not seen it, but it's hitchcock so you can't go wrong. SUNDAY 15TH APRIL TO CATCH A THIEF 3.50pm five I've not seen it, but it's hitchcock so you can't go wrong. LOST IN TRANSLATION 9pm Channel 4 A very good film. A CLOCKWORK ORANGE 10.55pm Channel 4 I hate it, I think it's Kubrick's worst effort (from his films I've seen). The one film of his that's cemented in the era he made it. MONDAY 16TH APRIL MR SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON 2.30pm Film4 The film that every American politician should watch. TUESDAY 17TH APRIL PALINDROMES 12.50am Film4 Weird one where 8 people play the lead character. If you liked Happiness, Storytelling or Welcome To The Dollhouse give it a go. WEDNESDAY 18TH APRIL SOME LIKE IT HOT 6.40pm Film4 Classic comedy. If you haven't seen it rectify the situation. THURSDAY 19TH APRIL JAWS 2 10.30pm ITV3 Still Spielbergs best film ever. FRIDAY 20TH APRIL KUNG FU HUSTLE 11.35pm Film4 The perfect introduction to asian films. Hilarious.
  19. It's alright ma was astoundingly good, but the highlight was Nettie Moore, I've never seen an audience in such rapt attention. Best he's been in his last 4 visits to the toon. knickers creamed...get over it I've just seen the greatest singer/songwriter of the last 4 generations play the best gig I've seen from him. It'll take more than a day to scrub the cream from my knickers. am really happy for you HP, but have always heard he was shit live . hence the creamed comment That's the misconception. I've always enjoyed his shows. He REALLY mixes up the delivery of songs so that the casual observer hasn't got a clue that he's doing one of his greatest hits. The last few times I've seen him the crowd hasn't gone along with it and as much as I've liked it, the atomsphere wasn't there. But this time people seeemed happy to listen rather than insisting on a singalong, and the gig was all the better for it. I can't imagine anyone who only has his greatest hits having a good time, but for the Dylan aficionado it's superb to hear a totally new rendition of classic tracks.

  22. For some reason I was as amused as a five year old whose teacher just pumped when the nerd one said... "If you ask me Skywalker was bloody lucky turning off his guidance system"
  23. Perhaps, but tonight he was awesome.
  24. Anyone going tonight? The Arena is terrible, but his recent set lists have got me very excited all of a sudden. http://my.execpc.com/~billp61/dates.html#cur Cat's In The Well John Brown Lonesome Death of Hattie Carrol If he does any of those 3 and I'll be leaving a happy man. Odd's on for the first, fingers crossed for either of the others.
