Gemmill When we appointed Roeder I posted in various places that it felt like an opportunity missed to really get someone decent in. At least I had the sense to realise a long time ago that he needed to go - until a week or so ago you wanted him here next season. Wasnt HF's original point that appointing Allardyce will be repeating the same mistake?? Missed opp to get someone decent? A meringue? Maybe, but then he made the mistake of saying that Allardyce was no better a manager than Roeder, which is quite clearly bollocks. Yep. I took that back. Not many people could be as bad as Roeder, but then that's why we accepted him in the first place ("at least it's not Souness"). How long are we going to have to be grateful for mini mercys?

Sorry, but that's just bollocks. I've had a look at a lot of older threads yesterday and there were many who wanted him full time last time (ahead of Roeder) - myself included. +1 HF- Back to the film books for you, I'm afraid.
