He's done a few great speeches on it over the past 8 years. The black man cannot take peoples guns though. Maybe the white mother will have a chance.

I haven't seen it, but I won't be watching any film but Toy Story 2 for about 16 years.

It's vile, and brilliant. Think of the lift scene from Drive on drugs

It's not scary as such, but there's a few times where I struggled to breathe under the weight of shit going down. Like Irreversible, there's moments of shocking violence, but it's not as black hearted as Irreversible, so it's all the more devastating when Bjork's having bother rather than Monica Bellucci. In Breaking The Waves Emily Watson's mistreatment was more comic/bizarre/unreal to me, so despite Dancer having lush musical dance scenes and Breaking being played more straight, Dancer was more devastating. Dogville is the same too. Von Trier just likes kicking shit out of women on film, and I alwayd find it pretty horrific.

I watched Psycho on my own at 2am one night a few years back and was pretty freaked out turning the lights out. The Shining is the scaries experience I've had. As others say, watching that on channel 4 as a 12 year old or something will fuck you up for days, not least because of the saggy hag and fancy dress blow job. Some that haven't been mentioned though...

Newcastle United v Chelsea 26/9/15 17:30 KO
Happy Face replied to Haydnator's topic in Newcastle Forum
Only just actually read the comments... So the example of the Newcastle crowd accepting you can't attack all teams all the time leads Neville to hark back to the cliche of the 90s that the Newcastle Crowd insist on always attacking? And then to him providing another example of the club sitting back, in a performance the fans showed massive appreciation for. I'm confused. -

There were a lot of supporters willing the team forward and going mad that we played them 2 corners short to hold up the game late on Saturday. I was happy to see us play out the game like that while Chelsea were in the ascendency. But we've rarely been in the position to have that choice. Total rearguard against man u and arsenal and the supporters came away from both delighted. With just 1 point and no goals. -

Remarkable for a man who seems so clued up when he does his Monday Night Football. He's obviously not watching us regularly though. Unaware that we didn't manage a shot on goal against Sheff Wed until the 80th minute. Hardly a team attacking too much and leaving gaps. -
Unfortunately it doesn't look to be true...Wolves in 10th, so close, but he's never had Liverpool winning the league. http://www.myfootballfacts.com/Mark_Lawrensons_Predictions_2011-12.html That said, if you take the average of how many points he overestimates teams each season, there's an undeniable bias ... Liverpool 10 Man City 9.8 Chelsea 8.7 Man U 8.5 Arsenal 7.7 Everton 2.7 Villa -0.5 Mackems -1.8 Newcastle -2.4 Spurs -3.5

Season Ticket Renewal/Apathy - £25 Half Season tickets
Happy Face replied to Tooj's topic in Newcastle Forum
Wasn't a last minute change. Just a reduction from last years price. That's the crux of it. "if people see it happening". The club never make any reference to past ticket prices, or provide any means for a comparison at any time. -

Lee Marshall was defending the clubs position on Twitter, but stopped when it got to the details... ..... I've submitted the question to the Fans Forum before. Will again though. -
Season Ticket Renewal/Apathy - £25 Half Season tickets
Happy Face replied to Tooj's topic in Newcastle Forum
Members were still paying less for the chelsea game than non-members. But the club dropped the price for members of the public to try and sell more tickets*, without dropping the price for members, who don't need the encouragement. *Crowd of 48,000 was still 4,000 down from last season though (also televised). -

Watford ticket prices were up to 15% higher than comparable games. Chelsea prices reduced for the public, but not for members. I've done another angry article about Newcastle supporters being unclear on what they're paying when. http://www.themag.co.uk/2015/09/the-mystery-of-newcastle-united-ticket-prices/ In my view it's not an accident, we're actively misled by confusing price fluctuation, Just like Sports Direct shoppers. -
"Everyone thought"? I read a lot of discontent about McClaren. He won 2 in the championship in the same period Carver won 2 in the Premier League. I saw very little enthusiasm for him beyond being an improvement on Carver. I expected more than this from him while not approaching Stevie's level of enthusiasm, but I agree no-one could have thought it would start out THIS bad. The crux is this... Bob Moncur Joe Kinnear Jeff Vetere Derek Llambias John Carver Dennis Wise Steve McClaren Lee Charnley Alan Pardew Tony Jiminez Joe Kinnear Mike Ashley has no clue about appointing anyone respected in the game. He has no idea about football and will always go with cheaper over better. The likes of Everton, West Ham and Aston Villa would be disgusted with appointing half of those people.

When it's one player you can knock them out. When an entire squad aren't putting in the work the system needs to work, you have to look at yourself and whether the system needs thought out again. Might not like that much player power or capitulating to it, but the alternative is he sticks to his guns and we keep losing with embarrassing shows.
-
If it's a system he plans to use consistently and feels it's one the players just need to practice with for it to become more effective, you can see the argument for sticking at it against Sheff Wed. Should have been a confidence booster and valuable training exercise to implement it against lower level opponents. The attacking players are clearly dead against the system already though and can't muster any enthusiasm whatsoever for busting a gut to attack in numbers or for concentrating hard enough to pass to a team-mate rather than to the opposition or out of play. McClaren MUST either get the players on board with his system or change it to one they're happy with.

I've no issue with a captain that isn't shouty on the pitch. An awful lot of that is for show and I can't stand seeing Taylor do it and Krul and Janmaat starting to follow suit, moreso at the fans than their teammates like. It's the same as having a poxy huddle on the pitch beforehand rather than in the changing room beforehand. Coloccini got the job because he's highly professional, irrespective of manager. First in, last out, helps new players integrate to the group, good at collecting the contributions to the christmas party and that sort of thing. He doesn't need warnings and discipline to get these basics right, and managers appreciate that example more through the whole week in training, than they do someone who will shout for 90 minutes come the big game. He's put in an excellent display or two trhis season, but he's been woeful more often, that said, our issues are ALL going forward right now, so I'm not sure Coloccini is the man to start confronting our playmakers on the pitch or to blame for the current situation. If he started giving teammates rockets and we started getting Bowyer/Dyer flare ups on the pitch then we'd really be in the shit.

McLaren's record identical to Shearer P8 W1 D2 L5 W% 12.5 L% 62.5 Needs some sort of result against Chelsea or Man City to avoid being the worst Newcastle manager of all time after the 10 game mark
-
Why are the club still touting Williamson out on loan in this situation? No matter how poor he can be he would be missed if Coloccini decides he needs to go and convince his wife the baby isn't his.
