What is going on in this community? 3 months without football IS a struggle but I'm sure we've all managed it in the past. We're all tired and emotional but the the back-biting, sniping and complaining isn't doing us any favours. 3 weeks. Come on. Pull together. Not like that Jimbo.

Whores in the flats behind the Baltic!

Mainly off you though! And the rest off Wacky, but you two are mates. You wouldn't walk up to a stranger in the pub and insinuate he found his betrothed at a knocking shop, unless you wanted a reet twatting. -
One of the developers just asked me aloud why I have an internet page called "grooming" on my task bar.

undoobatably Too scottish by some way for me. He lived in England for a month or something I think.

Right then who is up for nomination in the Patrokles Prize 2007? I like the Kissaway Trail's album. That Justice album is enjoyable. The Figurines. I don't know whether I'm allowed to nominate stuff from 2006 since the Mercury does that, but I'd say the Hold Steady & Beach House from 2006. The Emily Haines album is quite nice. Marissa Nadler. The Panda Bear album is slightly patchy but is very good when it is good. Of Montreal for sure. The Twilight Sad album is very good. Page France. Ice Station by the Race is one of my favourite albums of the year so far. There's probably a lot more I've missed off, which reinforces my point, really. I don't think there's a lack of talent at all. You just need to look outside of the Mercury Music Award to find it. Not much of that is UK based though. Is any? Which is a Mercury requirement.

Recommend away my good man.

It doesn't matter who wins. Just thought it might make a canny discussion. I'll bet you half the people on here haven't heard of half the artists short listed. So it's serving it's purpose of giving exposure to smaller selling artists by lumping them in with popular ones.

It's a good song, but Extreme have been defunct for years, and they're American. I'm sure it won't be eligible.

How can you end a message like that with "Roger"?

We all know it's pretty much bollocks, but more pressure on McLaren? http://www.football365.com/story/0,17033,8...2596690,00.html

The Thick Of It has it spot on like. "Love no tie!"

I've always liked the Smiths, but only from afar. Just the popular singles, How Soon Is Now, This Charming Man and that. As I lay awake all night though Morrisey's foppish voice was constantly going through my head, so for the Metro in I hoyed on their John Peel Sessions. Normally I'd read and have music for background, but I never bothered today. Just luxuriated in the jangliness of Jonny Marr's guitar. I never saw the fuss over him, but it just seemed to click today. I've put Hatful Of Hollow straight on after which I've suddenly got with the program on and realise is fucking brilliant song after fucking brilliant song. Think I'll have a Smiths day. Louder than Bombs and Meat is Murder to follow, then perhaps the singles.

They'll certainly have problems if their dad thinks Evan Almighty is passable. -

"Shola's got a brand new hip" to that James Brown song apparently. "Freddy Shepherds going down" was sung too apparently. That was funny. Their keeper got some stick too which was class. I like Carrol but he was shite tonight. Troisi looked class when he came on. -
Start a thread on something you think is interesting then? That's never really proved too succesful... http://www.toontastic.net/board/index.php?...ult_type=topics Though I did enjoy the fight one.

Been doing this shit for a year or two. The novelty is wearing off. Still pop back in a lunch hour, or of an evening, but can't remember the last time I spent my whole day at work refreshing like I've done in the past. Even when Roeder went or Ashley came I wasn't glued to the place for any news. Not that I was ever a Beatle like Gemmill, more of a Zombie.

Worked it out myself. It was the .srt file that worked in VLC. Very good film in the end. The child of the title isn't actually the child, but the father who avoids his responsibilities. aaahh. aaaah, aaaahh [/fist of fun] -
Aye. In the end I did a system restore. That sorted it.
