  1. Wasn't that 'Gilmore' though but? I don't know tbh, I wouldn't be seen dead watching an Adam Sandler film (unless of course, he was in the safe hands of a director of PT Andersons calibre).
  2. Because it is. http://www.toontastic.net/board/index.php?...mp;#entry319396

  9. http://www.gigwise.com/news.asp?contentid=36368 I don't mind him fucking himself up and dying, or his mates or his lass making the same choice, but the dickhead has crossed the line with a defenseless kitten. I don't even like cats....but what a CUNT!!!
  10. Can't stand any phone in shows. They do it on the news now too don't they? "send us your view and we'll put it on air". Bollocks, do your own work, you're getting paid. If I want a stupid opinion from a non-professional the place to find it is the Internet.
  11. Its really so much heroes club by club is it ? its just Premier League heroes, the teams are pretty irrelevant, but you could argue Shearer was a better player at Blackburn than he was at Newcastle and won a league winners medal there too, probably warrants depicting him in a Blackburn shirt. On the posters around St James' he's in his Newcastle strip
  12. Leazes level 7 has the best atmosphere in the house. But you can't see the pitch. So a double bonus
  13. So heroes come and go, only in the last 15 years? sorry, but I don't really give a fuck that Ginola was here when Sky filmed it, he's still not as big a hero round these parts as Jackie Milburn. Also the use of the word "our", lumps me in with Sky Sports, whose passion is more for Chelsea, Man U and Arsenal, but even when their passion covers my team, it means going to a match at 12.45 on a Sunday or 8 on a Monday. All I want is a few pints before and after the match with a gaurunteed lie in. These fuckers have ruined it for me so some lazy armchair fan can watch loads of games a week rather than one. Also the way they're using our biggest fault against us. No matter how shit we are I'm still paying for a season ticket that's increased in price way over the rate of inflation for the past 15 years....as a direct result of the Sky influence. My passion IS forever...and they take liberties in exploiting the fact. Don't rub my nose in it you twats.
  14. Allardyce won the poll on here, but Sven ran him close (including a vote from me). I think the majority of people that preferred Allardyce over Sven were more concerned about the astronomical wages, the dodgy private life and the need for a strong character in the changing room following Roeder. As well as being more realistic about who Fat Fred could attract. Their records hardly need comparing, Sven is clearly a more accomplished, experienced manager. So you're expecting him to win stuff and us not to then? I don't know, all I do know is Sven HAS won stuff and Sam hasn't. I don't expect us to win anything.

  16. I think he's a decent manager that gets the rub of the green more than most. I don't think he's a great tactical genius however, he doesn't seem to read the game and then make game changing/winning decisions so much as sit there and hope unless he's forced to do something (or occasionally try to defend a slender lead which back fired on him with England once or twice). Robson at the very end of his days was much more likely to spot a chance to make a change that would favour his team. Look at it the other way. Only a manager who got his tactics wrong in the first place would need a talent for changing the pattern of the game after going behind. Obviously he rarely has that worry, confident as he can be that he's sent the team out looking as good as he can from the start.
  17. I'm not sure I'd go that far yet. They've had a good start, but a long way to go yet (not even Sven's luck can hold out for that long ). Love the way some people blinker their opinions of Sven on their disatisfaction of his role as England coach. His club record is awesome and it's no suprise to me that Citeh have started the season as they have. Big spending and luck, just like this season (so far). What did Sven do to beat Man U? Nicked 1 goal with almost the only chance in the game and just held on. He's not a terrible manager, but he is a very lucky one. Ferguson too. I mean, all them goals in the 94th minute. 2 in the European cup. And Alf Ramsey. It was NEVER over the line, and Benitez, Mourinho is spot on to bring up that goal that wasn't every time anyone mentions the scousers. But Erikson is the luckiest of all, to lose only 5 competitive games over the space of 6 years as England manager was the spakiest thing I've ever seen.
