Stop being such a fanny. I'm not being a fanny, I'm being a cock.

It's canny funny funny that he refused to end the speculation before Allardyce went. Must've hated the twat being here. Petty though too.

Less than 24 hours after one of them really big days in the Toon's history, and semantics is still the most important thing to discuss on here?

Allardyce interview on SSN within 15 minutes

Are going to get the same interview every time he leaves the house and every time he gets back in? -
Want: Arsene Wenger Get: Lawrie McMenemy* *Did he not die?

Allardyce interview on SSN within 15 minutes
Happy Face replied to The Fish's topic in Newcastle Forum
I'd expect it was the other way. "how much do you want for the window?" "£10M will do me, I'll get Diarra, Tozer and Bramble back, he scores now too you know" "Jesus Wept" -
There are few people I wanted less than Allardyce. Hughes was one of them.

you reckon he's got the 'world class manager' lined up that happy face is prediciting then? if he has, fair play to him and i'll admit i'm wrong. i'm suprised no one else shares my conceren tbh. what top manager is going to fancy a job that's average term over the past decade has been just over a year? To be fair to Gloom I always look at the league before a game (even against Arsenal) to see where we'll be once we get our 3 points. Hopelessly optimistic.

Someone posted a newspaper report a few weeks ago about Ashley chasing Redknapp, we all called it bollocks and it still is if you ask me. I just reckon a few punters have remembered that article and bet big on it happening causing his odds to shorten massively. I'd be amazed if it happens (in a bad way). EDIT: and the article was by a complete twunt who'd done 4 or 5 in a row trying to unsettle things at the Toon.

I think you have nailed it. Good sense, as per from HF. How come the dumb fucking aussie gets slated for saying have some faith in Mort and Ashley and HF, the fucking film critic (by the way HF I'll be sending my rockumentary to you and I want a good review ok?) gets pats on the back and cheers of support! Fucking empire my arse. Come on Samwise, we're in this together now.

What's happened to your we can't attract anybody/thing decent to this club nonsense? Allardyce couldn't. Who knows what Morshley can accomplish?
-
Ashley is a ruthless businessman. He's fucked over many people in the sporswear industry to make his fortune and he's not going to suffer ineptitude for very long. This sacking has nothing whatsoever to do with repeating old mistakes at the club. Shepherd would react with a sacking if the fans showed a bit of discontent because he didn't know how to lead. This sacking flies in the face of what the majority of fans believe, it's a pro-active choice by a man who's realised that however much Sam improved, he would never be good enough to match his ambition. This leaves me confident that the replacement will be a world class manager. I reckon the owner is the type who'd do whatever it takes to get a top man then gladly pay any fine for tapping up.

£5.5M for a bloke that cost them £2M and has played 3 games or something? We really know how to mug ourselves.
-
Because? Cause above everything we need organising and a re-vamp of the set up. Something he knows a thing or two about from his time at Bolton. His attention to detail and empahsis on player development and motivation and his overall psychological approach (something that some of our player sorely need). IMO Sam will put this background structure in place (and it wil take 2 seasons at least to start showing) and this will be the platform to his legacy. It is exactly what we need. For now the system of play and purchases and other 'on field' stuff although important ( and will be communicated to the side) is not quite as critical as making the base right to take us forward. That is why I feel at this moment he is a godsend. Yeah, but it took him some time. As I say, he finished 16th and 17th in the league. The "Geordie faithful" won't stand for that. We'll have him booed out of the job by Christmas. Bigger success than I ever thought he would be then...by 2 weeks.
-
The betting will fluctuate for a while. Allardyce has probably got a sizeable wedge on his replacement.
-
You don't know how hard it's been for me man. Absoloutley loathe the odious twat. Welcome back to the fold HF. The world just seemed off kilter with your "support" for the fucking twat.
-
Dunno like, his transfer record was dodgy to say the least. And by christ Chelsea were dull to watch, that's why he got sacked in the first place, Geordie's won't have it, Jimbo will hound him out within 10 games.
-
Love the way SSN repeatedly read out a statement from chairman Chris Mort then say "Chairman Mike Ashley is looking for an experienced....bla, blah, blah" Fucking simpletons.
-
Every time I see your sig I have a giggle. Lovely stuff.
-
It wouldn't for me tbh. Well no-one is a bigger fan of the Hulkster than you so it wouldn't.
-
I'm not keen on going backwards. After he lost the momentum at the toon he's been proved incapable in every job he's done, but as my mind was racing through the possibilities immediately after I heard the news, my mind turned to Keegan and I thought of the noise on his first game at St James' and the hair on my neck stood on end. Not saying he's the one, but it would be like Hulk Hogan coming back to the WWF.

They open and close their books all the time.

The optimism of last May when he was appointed has been gone for a long time... I'm disappointed the circus continues, but at the same time the decisions and performances have been truly terrible. Hard to know whant to make of it. People were optimistic in May?
