Given made a couple of mistakes today, but Rooney could have had a couple of hat-tricks if it weren't for him. And he's been class long term. Taylor was equally valuable at a few goal line clearances tonight. But he's been a liability for a long time.

The number of times you see him vacate his position completely is frightening. The glorious goal line clearances and making sure he's the last off the pitch EVERY FRIGGING GAME make up for dropping the whole team in the shit time and time again though.

He's a fucking loon. Did you see him storming into Man U's area for a header and connecting with his shoulder? (then failing to get back) Liability if you ask me.

I reckon Smith has gone too far with the ref on purpose, to show us all how much he wants to win. ( ). To be honest Happy Face, the man in your avatar and signature may have been a total failure at Spurs, but he has more than restored his reputation as a very good coach since then. Not saying he should be Newcastle manager obviously , but the way he's still a laughing stock in England really doesn't tell the whole story. He's had numerous offers to manage decent teams in Germany and Spain because of the job he's done at Basel. Rightly or wrongly, the fact that he IS a laughing stock means he'd be perfectly suited to NUFC though.

TBF the reason they won't read the Sun has got nothing to do with Murdoch. The only one it has anything to do with is Kelvin Mckenzie, who left the Sun years ago though. No-one at The Sun now was anything to do with their Hillsbrough coverage at the time. Mckenzie made the decision to go with the "The Truth" headline and story, and the only person above him is Murdoch (who's said that Mckenzie is his favourite editor that ever held the reigns at the sun). Who are they punishing by not reading the Sun? Oh I agree it was all McKenzie and he has nothing left to do with the Sun any more. Mud sticks though I guess and it is that reason (and nothing to do with Murdoch) why the won't read the paper. As for Gerrard serialising his book in the NOTW, I think that's a disgrace tbh.
