Iirc we were 4th or 5th when KK left. 14th, but only 10 points off 7th who had a game in hand... http://stats.football365.com/2006/ENG/PR/tojan.html

I was trying to find out where we were when Keegan left the other day to no avail. There's a real gap in the internets market for a site where you enter a date and it gives you the standings at the time. But we were 14th when Roeder got it I think. EDIT: I know F365 do it, but it only starts in '97.

Why can't people always look for the silver lining? Better they get the lift than hold up traffic on the stairs with their slow moving wide load.

He looks as pleased as punch on that one. Like a baby that's just used his potty for the first time.

That's excellent Sean. Well done!

Exactly. I do wonder though, how much coverage this Liverpool protest is going to get tonight. I know if it were us there'd be blanket coverage with radgie after radgie getting to air their views. Of course, Scousers aren't fickle with their Champions league football and £25 million trophy signings, they just know what's best for their club. We're just thick Geordies that have been spoilt by the greatest chairman we ever had.

I don't think you're ready mate. You don't even know how to start looking.

Would you rather finish 7th and enter the Intertoto or 8th? Absoloute season killer that tournament. Probably a question for next year anyway though.

Keegan Keegan Ain't nothing going on, but the rent. Can I change my profile to ignore certain threads?

Not at all. Just put your VHS output into your dvd recorder input and you're away.

Don't pay anyone to do that man. It's buttons for your own recorder... http://www.amazon.co.uk/LVW-5006-Format-Re...7310&sr=1-2

If we're lucky, Portsmouth and West Ham will drop points enough for us to gety into the top half.

Shola wouldn't score a boat load more than anyone. Pretty similar rate to Bellamy. Twice as good as Smiths. I understand what you mean though, none of those players will score a "boatload" themselves let alone a boatload more than anyone else. But I'd rather a striker that scores one in three, rather than one in six. But lets be honest, Bellamy had ten times more to his game than Shola. Smith is a better allround player too. Shola's more of an out-and-out striker. Not saying either are good enough but I honestly think Smith would be more beneficial to the team. I agree with Bellamy, I'd rather have him than Shola, he scores as many and creates loads of space for his partner. I don't think Smith does either though. I wouldn't select either for my front two like, even from the players we've got.

There's not been a pre-match to live up to it since. Always best when an away fan got up and the 2 geordies got a particularly mild Korma.

Shola would score a boat load more than Smith, and the only door smith has unlocked this season is when he fell over the ball in hesitation and Viduka took it off him.

Week in, week out in idols on stage in front of a baying crowd. They'd never make it to the game afterwards though. The best tactic was to eat the chicken/meat straight off. Then pour the juice down. My mate managed to dip his finger in one week and had a lick. He cried. The worst tactic was to rub your eyes once you started crying, they were inevitably covered in molten curry and chilli seeds.

He can rot. Maybe he was trying to see Sourmess off? Worlds hottest curry plus dodgy ticker.... He deserves a parade.

Doubt anyone would be blaming the player if Allardyce had played him in that position.
