You're just peeved at that memo that came round all the nurses saying you have to undo your top 2 buttons when you're on duty. A little more professionalism from you wouldn't go amiss young lady.

You're the one that likes The Shield aren't you? [/withering sarcasm] On that, just finished series 1 of the Shield. It's all a bit Might start series 2. I might have been harsh on it considering I haven't seen it. I must also apologise to Jimbo for going all Parky on the show which could well be excellent. I was just light headed at an hour of the day I barely knew existed, and reacted badly to the genius that is The Sopranos being questioned. The fuck all the fuss is about is the most gorgeous show ever made. It's not so much a TV show as an all time classic 100 hour long film, being shown on TV in parts. No other episodic show comes close to it's symbolism and deeper subject matter. I know that further up I said the West Wing is better, but honestly, that was just heat of the moment hyperbole. The West Wing is brilliant for a TV show, but it's just an intelligent and well written political soap opera. The Sopranos sits above The Godfather(s). It elevates television to an art form. No offense taken, I was expecting watching the Sopranos to be a life changing experience but I was left feeling somewhat underwhelmed, I think with it being hyped up so much I had high expectations, had I see it without the build up I may have thought more of it. In all honesty, I can hardly remember the first series. I watched the pilot back a few months ago and was amazed how much the show has evolved. It really hits it's stride in season 2, around the episode called 'Pine Barrens'

When a grade A cunt like Michael Winner burns you like Winner burnt Littledick on his show, then you know you're a monumental king of cunts.

A fine argument. ...IF white buttered bread cut into quarters was something that even remotely approximated the term 'soldier'.

If that doesn't work, it works out to only cost £2.96... http://www.sendit.com/dvd/item/7000000113296

What a load. Doctor, I think I've got heart disease. Yes I'm afraid you do, brought on by not perving at the young women. I'm going to prescribe a subscription to Razzle. Read it twice a day before meals and have a wank over it before sleep.

If they're inventing tools to cut toast into soldiers, it's safe to say that soldiers should be toasted. http://www.boingboing.net/2005/10/17/perfe...astie-sold.html

I was just going to say, shame we can't bring in a few more talented foreign MPs on the cheap.

I see Pearson is sticking with the earpiece in his lughole. Is he actually speaking to anyone on there any more?

If you're willing to gloss over flaws solely because of the subject matter it says a lot about you as a critic. Nerds. Not saying it was particularly a flaw for me like. I'm not so lazy that picking up the remote is any great chore. Calling him a "mindless, ignorant twat" was OTT though. If he was he wouldn't have even watched and (by all accounts) thoroughly enjoyed the show.

Dunno, but he's obviously a bit of a cock if that's his main concern.

We're starting to sound like Scousers now. The backlash against the media backlash against Keegans backlash against the southern backlash has got to stop. Those self pitying blert's get right on my tits.

I'm paying for the fuckin' BBC *spits* anarl and would dearly love not to!!!!!!! A fine institution the BBC. I couldn't sit through 606 like, worse than talksport as the presenters don't even try to wind people up with senationalist/ill informed drivell. They just can't help it.
-
That's at least two people on here paying to keep Talksport in business. I can't fathom it. Can people actually listen to more than 30 seconds of it without submitting to the urge to force a pen into their ear?

He can deliver a ball better than anyone else in the squad. Maybe he lacks consistency because he's never gets a game consistently.

Despite providing our only goal in four games?

I've not seen it yet, but even before I do I have reservations about it's subtext. I wonder if any Americans looking at the film and comparing it with Godzilla remember that the atomic bomb and Hiroshima (which inspired Godzilla) was excessive retribution for the behaviour of Japan during WW2. Japan were the bad guys! Cloverfield is obviously a 50's red menace inspired post 9/11 sci-fi film, but does it make it plain that they brought it on themselves? From what I've heard of the limited scope (one man and his video camera) there is no context whatsoever for the attack. Godzilla had a history, in the past sacrifices were made to placate him, but Cloverfied (by all accounts) has nothing like that, it's just a foreign monster that Americans are completely ignorant of. It sounds to me like it's a condemnation of terrorist attacks without any attempt at understanding. A Hollywood endorsement of American foreign policy rather than a cautionary tale against rampant empire building? I like it when he blows things up. I liked it when the army filled balloons with helium to carry King Kong to an island where he could fight Godzilla. -

Putting the doom and gloom aside... "...the players we have aren't good enough and we need to spend millions to replace in most areas of the field." If that's the most positive you can be you aren't trying very hard.

Your suggestion is quite tempting actually. That goal showed that Owen is still class, his positioning and timing to get that header above all the Boro defenders was brilliant. Quite excited by what he might be able to do for us for the first time. Bit confused by the headline though, do you 'ignite' a spark? I thought you created a spark to ignite a flame? Where's the article from? I'd like to contact the editor and have someone fired.

Was it me or was she actually chanting "get your tits out for the lads!" ??? They were actually singing 'Get your tits out for your Dad' (refering to the obvious). As well as 'Down on your daughter, you're going down on your daughter' And 'Gary Glitter's red and white army' which I thought deserved some credit Craig's about as clued up on toon chants as Tony Blair.

They always film the hooligans for use in identifying them.

I can't see the video, but there were a bunch of twelve year olds running up and down and all around. I thought I saw Frank Butcher at one point too. "Ranaraahhhhhnd!"
