  1. Keegergood, Keegergood, he's Kevin Keegergood. There's a guy in the place He's got a bittersweet face And he goes by the name of Kevin KeegerGood His friends call him Keeger and he is the main geezer And he'll vibe about the place like no other man could He's refined, he's sublime, he makes you feel fine Though very much maligned and misunderstood But if you know Keeger he's a real crowd pleaser He's ever so good, he's Kevin KeegerGood You can see that he's mischievious, mysterious and devious When he circulates amongst the people in the place But once you know he's fun and something of a genius He gives a grin that goes around from face to face to face Backwards and then forwards, forwards and then backwards Keeger is the geezer who loves to muscle in That's about the time the crowd all shout the name of Keeger As he's kotcheled in the corner, laughing by the bass bin
  2. What were they married? 3 years? £8M a year? That's more than Michaels Owen gets, debateable who's actually earned it more like.
  3. 24 Eyes Winner of the 1955 Golden Globe for best Foreign Language Film, it also beat out Seven Samurai to win the poll of Japanese critics. It charts the life of a rookie teacher and her students from the point she takes on her class of first year students in 1928 to a reunion she has with those remaining in 1946 following the end of the war. An anti-war film without a single shot fired, it's gorgeous, though the singing/crying can get a bit too much.
  4. Scene taken from The Likely Lads episode The Suitor, first aired 1964. it's innate.
  5. Something the "we must spend £300M" brigade should remember. Look at Moyes, he's spent thruppence ha'penny and they're neck and neck for a champions league place with big money Liverpool.
  6. SUNDAY 16TH MARCH BROTHERS OF THE HEAD 10.50pm Film4 Fictional documentary about siamese twins that front a rock band, got canny reviews when it came out last year. CAT PEOPLE 12.45am BBC2 Paul Schrader (writer of Taxi Driver) directs a weird remake. Nice bit of Bowie though. MONDAY 17TH MARCH BATTLE FOR HADITHA 9pm Channel 4 A brand new dramatic film from Nick Broomfield (famous for his documentaries) that recreates the already infamous battle. Scathing of the people in charge of both sides while being sympathetic to those on the ground. ALIEN 3 10.50pm Channel 4 Harshly judged third installment. I love it. ONCE UPON A TIME IN AMERICA 11pm Film4 Sergio Leone's last film drags terribly. Very self-indulgement with none of the panache of his other films. Some people say it's a masterpiece, but they're blinded by the rest of his canon. THE BIG BOSS (Fists of Fury) 11.05pm five Bruce Lee classic TUESDAY 18TH MARCH PLANES, TRAINS AND AUTOMOBILES 9pm Film4 Hilarious. DO THE RIGHT THING 12.10am ITV4 Suprise suprise, a Spike Lee film about race relations. It is excellent though and very funny. WEDNESDAY 19TH MARCH REPO MAN 1.10am Film4 Alex says it's good. THURSDAY 20TH MARCH HIS GIRL FRIDAY 10.30am BBC2 Good old fashioned fun. Classic. FRIDAY 21ST MARCH AIRPLANE! 5.30pm five THE ASSASSINATION OF RICHARD NIXON 10.30pm BBC2 Sean Penn is a lonely fella, a bit Travis Bickley.
  7. Black Snake Moan Samuel L Jackson chains Wednesady Addams to his radiator to cure her nymphomania, after Justin Timberlake has left her to go to war. Supposably based on Silas Marner, I've not read the book, but if it's anything like the film, it's shite. I'm guessing it's not though. A shame because I quite enjoyed Hustle & Flow which was the directors previous film.
  8. I'm sure Man City will pay for mthe taxi.
  9. According to the bloke on 606 he said so in his post match interview.
  10. http://www.skammich.com/leekspin.html
  11. Note to self, use this response whenever a Leazes/Shepherd argument starts spiralling.
  12. The ironic thing is that you disapprove of people calling the manager.
  13. It's like a Jackson Pollock thread, if you're looking for a point you'll only be disappointed.
  14. Oh please just be quiet and go watch lost or better still clueless! If you want to show me other fig go ahead. He's invested his money in HIS asset the club. He hasn't significantly invested in the first team (not even paying the debt counts). My point being the papers like to dress it up in a kind of language that makes our situation look more comical/dire. ie "He's invested £250m"..etc. He hasn't he has bought an asset the team hasn't directly benefitted. However I think there is enough ambition in MA and hopefully we'll see it in the summer. The £250M he's put in out of his pocket will be taken into account when you work out any profit he makes from the club. After 96/97 the previous lot never used any of their own cash in speculating, they moved the club into debt to accumulate further personal wealth in the form of dividends without any risk to their personal fortune. I'm far happier to hear the press say how he's put £250M into the club than I was to hear the shite about Shepherd backing his manager. you clearly have absolutely no idea what it means not to back your manager. Thanks for the best laugh I've had today. Calm down Leazes, I agree Shepherd > Mckeag/Seymour.
  15. I love calling people on their flaky commitment to a point of view like. The most ironic I found from Rico's over that couple of days wasn't this one though.... http://www.toontastic.net/board/index.php?...st&p=427667 It was this one... http://www.toontastic.net/board/index.php?...st&p=428067
  16. People writing on message boards IS fair play, I think it's aimed more at Rico, people who write shite. I never wrote Keegan should come back. I never wrote Sven was an amazing manager after 5 games and everyone at the club should be shot for not hiring him. I don't write shite, period. You were over the fucking moon when Keegan arrived though weren't you? No. Check if you want. R|CO never changes sides, he merely hardens the statement of his initial gut reaction when he is inevitably always proven right. I'd already checked to be honest mate. I'm not daft enough to make wild statements and then go back on them.... http://www.toontastic.net/board/index.php?...st&p=427665 http://www.toontastic.net/board/index.php?...st&p=427672 I was swept up in the moment, and with nostalgic feelings, it also happened on a pretty hyper day for me anyway. Check for my more grounded opinions expressed both before about the floated prospect of his return, and considered reactions after, following Wisegate, more blatant shite from the puppet Mort, support for Smith etc etc, you will see. So all that talk about your gut reaction was you talking shite then?
  17. That's the spit of my mates house in Bellingham. Well done. Get a number for your door though. Nothing worse than a person who relies on neighbours numbers for people to work out their number.
