  1. I was talking to a Man U fan in the pub yesterday who guaranteed me Keegan wouldn't be here at the start of next season. I asked what made him so sure, and he said he read it in The Mirror. Christ, with insider knowledge like that I wonder why he hasn't been to the bookies yet.
  2. What's the point in this if it's true, I thought he was meant to be trying out new players in these friendlies but Capello just seems to be fannying about first picking that Peterborough keeper who isn't going to be international standard and now this.
  3. They're going to discuss us on "Nuts TV" , and they want your input... http://www.footballfancast.com/blog/newcas...ue-respect/3808
  4. http://www.shieldsgazette.com/nufc/ExToon-...-for.4121979.jp Fair Do's. He already looks like the Cardinal out of Dogtanion.
  5. Never seen it. I liked Tootsie though. ...and The Interpretor.

  7. That's exactly what I thought of the first three. People melting and knights of the round table living in a cave indeed.

  9. Really? I was led to believe it was even better than Belle de jour.
  10. Rapper sued over jazz samples http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/7416823.stm
  11. Rose West gets more sympathy. I for one hope she makes it and is so far ahead that she has time to stop for a nice big dump in the street as she approaches the 26 mile mark.
  12. DJ Yoda vs Champions League 2008
  13. Making the Leazes 'corner' the singing section proves Mort knows nowt about SJP. 'The Corner' (S.East corner) has been the place to be for the last 30 years. However, the wannabe singers can now congregate in the new singing section, leaving us professionals to carry on regardless in the real corner The South East Corner was where the away fans stood when i started going.
  14. The lower corner is too small I think. Leazes L7 is where most noise is made these days and I think it's cut off from the rest of the stadium by the away fans and the drop to the east stand. I suppose the thinking is noise will spread further from that corner than it would from the Leazes. But you don't have to go in the corner. You can renew at the same price somewhere else depending on availability.
  15. For those like me having trouble visualising it... Corner L7A - L7F move to L7H - L7N (along with the few rows at the front). Corner L7A - L7F becomes the £390 singing section. Milburn gets the family enclosure somewhere unstated between L7A and L7H. Right?
  16. How much were kids season tickets last year? £100 is excellent if you ask me. I might treat my little cousin so I can keep my seat.
  17. Makes you sound like one of those on tap for Sky outside SJP 24/7 type mongs I can be excused though, working in St James' Street, rather than hanging around the club shop at 6am for the new training top.
  18. I just popped into the box office and they confirmed I can't have my seat next year (Leazes L7 T482 access 91/92). I've paid for next year though, so they said if i move somewhere cheaper (singing section) I'll be refunded the difference. Didn't ask if I'd have to pay the extra for somewhere more expensive, but I assume so. Obviously people who've lost their seats are getting first refusal on the singing section. I'm not too keen like. It's as far from the pitch as you can get. Bit of a pisser for the coppers having to get the away fans (mackems) to/from the other end of the stand too, it's doubled the distance they have to herd them.
  19. Bastards, I like being on the aisle. Time for a Save Our Seats campaign.
  20. They better not be getting my seat, I've already paid.
  21. Christina Aguilera - Beautiful Fantastic song, and not just for the unintentional irony of it all.
  22. Lost The Carling Cup? Lost The Premier League? Lost The European Cup? Lost a Parent? Talk to Frank!
