I thought Grant was sacked by Kenyon. After they (Grant and Kenyon) had a 6 hour meeting to decide his future. The way I read the reports anyway, they were thrashing out if he'd stay or go. Given the European final was the first match Roman's been to in months, it made sense too.

I'm off to make some space for my dinner right now. I'll be standing up to wipe too, not like all you split arses.

2004, 2005, and 2006 were pretty lean for Fergie/Man U. If Grant had won the league cup do you reckon it would have saved him?

Pourquoi? Why leave a secure job to go to one where you're sacked after less than a season in charge, even if you're within a whisker of winning the treble. No such thing in football. You don't think Fergie's sitting comfortably? I knew you'd say that. Don't you see statistically it's pretty rare? If it were me all other considerations would be secondary for a crack at the title. There's a scale isn't there, where Fergie's is the safest job in football and whoever takes the Chelsea job will be the least safe. Hughes is somewhere in between, so you have to say he'd be taking a risk to leave Blackburn....as would anyone currently in a job.

You don't think Fergie's sitting comfortably? If Hughes, for example, was the next manager after Ferguson at Old Trafford he wouldn't be in a particular secure position for a while at least, would he? Ferguson's position is unique, especially at a club of that or similar stature. My point being there is such a thing as a secure job in football.

Yep, like this place died a death when Gemmil and Renton went.

You could understand them confusing the split sixth season and calling it seven. Where the hell does eight come from though? poor.

Microsofts new touch sensetive Operating System

Surely the problem with the last few releases from Microsoft has been the reduced control given to the user? I've always reverted to a classic windows setup that gives me control. Why do you want your computer to do your thinking? -

I can't believe any manager currently in work would be interested.

Be funny to see what he does if he gets the offer, after telling Bentley he should stay.

I don't remember the video or who sang it, and I don't think I've actually heard the original since it was out during my infancy. So why do I know that song so well? Strange phenomena.
