There is still the presumption of contact even when the dad has been violent towards his partner and children, has a criminal record for violence etc. That's part of the reason so many children have ended up dead - there has usually been a history of violence directed towards the childrens' mother. My view was based on the fact I played on the SNES for hours on end when i should have been doing homework, was grounded had no money and had 6 weeks holidays to fill. From my personal experience the system did handle things very diplomatically, as I remember they looked at both sides, and obviously since we where already living with me mam to start with we did have the exaggerated version of events, but, they managed to sort something out that would have been a benefit, seems like theres no common sense anymore though That comment wasn't directed at your circumstances by the way which I clearly know nothing about. I recently joined in a fit of boredom at work. So far 20 odd people from my past I have no interest in talking to again have asked to be my friend. But one ex whose number I'd lost has too, so it's gotta be worthwhile. Life is about moving on Nicos. One beer with her and it will all come back to you...The 'ex' bit that is. I'm willing to remain in the past until she tires of being a 'fuck buddy'....again. I'd be impressed if you banged her for a month and then deleted your Facepoop account. I have to say, it is a flaw that you can't hide certain friends from one another on there.
