  2. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/7475039.stm I don't know why I'm posting this. No-one seems to like the poor mutt anyway.
  3. I see Winohouse (See what I did there?) has been lamping her fans... http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/7479092.stm
  4. Aye, been canny. Just needs to do Blueprint 2 to really piss Tooj off and we're soted.
  5. Southampton x2, Oldham, Ipswich, Villa, Palace. I didn't cheat. Palace got relegated. Hence the dodginess. I should have said 5 clubs like. Given Southampton are in there twice.
  6. Mind, Buddy Guy is on BBC4.
  7. Yo yo he's got 99 problems but your opinion ain't one! Westwood is in effect u need this in your life!! Brapppppppppppppppp brappppppppppppppp I think he's canny, but live rap is rarely any good. Agreed but a live band helps big time, the MTV Live he did with The Roots was pretty decent. Aye, he's got guitars up there and seems to be doing the rock-rap schtick to satisfy all comers. Not too shabby.
  8. Name 4 clubs to have finished 18th or lower, but not get relegated from the premier league. [/dodgy question]

  10. Jay-Z coming up. He can't be as bad as I'm expecting.
  11. Dogmatix has dibs on Dogma, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and Great Escape iirc. I'm waiting for him to ring me back though so I'll let you know asap.
  12. "He accused me of bein' against homophobia!" How very dare he.
  13. ...and only £2 to the person that follows the link in my sig.
  14. FAO Danny FAO Torres Come back any time you want to talk Newcastle.
  15. The latter mainly, although the former to the degree it's being taken there. I don't know where you got it from, but if they aren't making money for writing a story then they probably should spend more time looking at themselves. It's from a Body Language expert who's written 6 books on the subject and who I'd assume was paid for the article too. If you don't watch the show yourself, I don't see how you can call her interpretations psychobabble/shit, while also conceding body language has at least some degree of creditability*. For me, as a viewer, she has the house heirarchy spot on. *Most experts would agree that at least half of communication is non-verbal. Aye, there we go then, it's like asking a used car salesman about the merits of that particular model. I'm not saying that body language is bollocks (it isn't - but it's hard enough to get signals right in far more simple contexts and with more simple organisms), but that person is writing a story there and then making things up (that sound good) to support the story, it's no different from reading a book from some "diet expert" on the latest fad diet, it sounds sexy and convincing....... but then it's supposed to sound like that to sell (directly or indirectly). The irony here is the psychology around the article is much more real than the psychology in the article. You haven't seen the car for yourself though, so everything the salesman is saying might be spot on. True, but that would be down to luck rather than judgement (as in this case). I dunno I won't convince you I guess, but maybe you'd be better off reading some of the drier more academic books on this, then you'll see that this has far more of the elixir salesman about it than scientific research. Do the drier academic books have people spitting in each others faces and threatening each other with gang retribution?

  18. I also love the way last seasons 11th place is called 'a blip' when Spurs have finished ninth, tenth, eleventh and fourteenth in the last six years. If anything the two 5th place finishes were a spakey blip.
  19. Like when we won 4-1 at your place. That's entertainment.
  20. Hutton is better than Beye. Significantly better. The 2 fifth places are all forgotten now? Danny let me save you from yourself. Since the PL's inception who outside the current top four has finished in the European places the most? So do us all a favour and cut it out. Neither of our clubs are anything to write home about recently. The point I am trying to get across is that last years league finish (In my eyes) was a blip and that at this moment in time the Spurs team is significantly stronger than the Newcastle one. And before we bang on about the odd result, please bear in mind that Brum turned us over twice and scored 7 against us this season. Does that make them a better side than Spurs? Souness, Roeder, Allardyce were all blips mate. Look at the league table and the last 2 results between the two sides and tell me Spurs are significantly stronger. One season is a blip mate, several seasons is a trend. Yes you have the Indian sign over us at the moment head to head. but we have finished above you know for the last 4 seasons running. That is a trend, not a blip. There was a similar trend that ran from '99 when you finished above us for 3 years. Of course you never capitalised on it in any way shape or form. While we went on to finish third, fourth and fifth between '02 and '05 you lot were languishing down in 14th. The trend doesn't mean shit. Once you've played in the champions league you can get mouthy about it. Once your average premier league placing is above ours you can have a bit of a brag. Once you're averaging over 50,000 you can claim to be a big club. Until any of it happens, FUCK OFF!
  21. How come we don't have a cockend Everton fan or Villa fan to spout shite on here? I think we should advertise the vacancies on their forums so we have a full set of knob jockeys more interested in baiting us than putting up with others of their own ilk on their own board.
  22. All them trailers you can't skip on Disney DVDs are a bastard like.
