  1. Yeah he better be careful or he'l need to sign on I wouldn't put a fifth of MY wealth into the club and I ain't worth shit. [/soopafan status]
  2. That's not good news IMO. The bloke's a BILLIONAIRE ffs. He's pissing us about. He'll be getting on for £300M in the hole if we spend a few bob this summer. He's 'only' a £1.6billionaire isn't he? And his Sports direct has had a shit year. Throwing away a fifth of your wealth has got to be a bit risky going into a recession. Perhaps if he'd known about the full extent of the debts when he bought, he'd have been able to push the boat out himself, Seems to me like he's doing the best thing for the club if he brings in someone who can invest big in the team.
  3. The oddest thing was the same kids were whooping it up for totally conflicting answers. Too many Space Invaders in their diet.
  4. It's a bit sweet for my tastes. Good luck to the fella though, It's worked out very well for a business man who didn't know the difference between 10000 and 100000. He could have been selling rancid piss in a bottle. With his cheeky grin and catchy ditty he was bound to succeed.
  5. Freddie Shepherd recently came into a few Bob, perhaps he could invest.
  6. Kiddy Question Time tonight. Hope none of the panel get stabbed.
  7. Must be a woman. Where's yer Wiki link man? Unfortunately little info on there, but a google search revealed he likes to text Alex while watching porn. http://z7.invisionfree.com/toonchat/index.php?showuser=47 Case closed.
  8. Well? Canny average I'm afraid. I mean it was a subway, so it was lush, but no great improvement on Chicken Terryacky [sic].
  9. Must've been the kid off The Last Emperor is it? Emperor Puyi was 2. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Puyi

  11. A moonquake is the lunar equivalent of an earthquake, i.e., a quake on the Moon. Moonquakes are much less common and weaker than earthquakes. Information about moonquakes comes from seismometers placed on the Moon by Apollo astronauts from 1969 through 1972. The instruments placed by the Apollo 12, 14, 15 and 16 missions functioned perfectly until they were switched off in 1977. According to NASA, there are at least four different kinds of moonquakes[1]: * Deep moonquakes (~700 km below the surface, due to tidal stresses from Earth and Sun) * Meteorite impact vibrations * Thermal moonquakes (the frigid lunar crust expands when sunlight returns after the two week lunar night) * Shallow moonquakes (20 or 30 kilometers below the surface, may be caused by large rims on young craters slumping) The first three kinds of moonquakes mentioned above tend to be mild; however, shallow moonquakes can register up to 5.5 on the Richter scale. Between 1972 and 1977, twenty-eight shallow moonquakes were observed. On Earth, quakes of magnitude 4.5 and above can cause damage to buildings and other rigid structures. Vibration from shallow moonquakes usually continues for more than ten minutes compared to around one or two minutes on Earth. The moonquakes are much longer than earthquakes because there is no water on the Moon. Water weakens rocks through chemical weathering causing different minerals to expand. This makes the ground act like a sponge and so the vibrations are soon absorbed making the earthquake end sooner. The Moon does not absorb the vibrations as quickly as the Earth as it is more rigid and so keeps vibrating for longer, extending the moonquakes far beyond the biggest earthquakes. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moonquake and a moon tsunami? Are people even reading the answers? See the boldybit.

  19. Are you talking about the kids killed or the kids doing the stabbing? I didn't think much detail of the accused was released until after a trial....especially if they're under 18. And if you meant the other way, I don't see how a victims hobbies could be blamed for their death. EDIT: That's not to say the accused didn't have a solid traditional family life, but I'd suggest if they did, they got in with a bad crowd who (on the whole) didn't. Having conversed with me online for about 3 years now, i thought you might have worked out i'm not an utter spacker. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7436141.stm They reduced the age from 18 to 16 in response to the experience of dealing with these crimes. Someone has to present a case and a reason to change these things. You've got the ages of the boys / men charged in this link http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7395875.stm Plenty of examples of MURDERS on 14 year olds by 16 year olds. Nevermind the rest .... Nee offense intended like. I'm not disputing that young people are both perpetrators and victims of these crimes. I'm saying it's nowt to do with the entertainment industry and all about broken families and the inability of younger (generally single) parents to instill discipline. Neither of which are mentioned in those links ().

  21. Nowt its all that Grand theft auto and gansta rap. is it? serious question. Either that or 11 years of soft ***** in government. Probably both. Cops and robbers, cowboys and indians, wargames....kids have always pretended to kill people for fun. Doesn't turn them into murderers. When i was a kid, we sometimes used sticks as replica guns, slightly different to an absorbing 3-dimensional interface with high definition graphical realisation of every aggression your parents have taught you. Seriously (it obviously isnt the only cause) its obvious that media (video games, movies, tv) has an influence as the 14 year olds who are stabbing other kids refer to 'gangsta' culture and use it as a reference point with respect to the violence. How do you think they learnt about such things and which media are they using the most? Its worth bearing in mind at least. When I was young, rival punk gangs would go down the fairground at easter with knives and bats and beat the everloving shit out of each other. Years before that the mods and rockers were at each others throats. When my dad was young the Teddy Boys kicked off the 1958 Notting Hill riots. Hells angels have killed many people and injured far more while adopting an image associated with Heavy Metal. "Gangsta" culture is just the current way to attribute youth violence to the must popular music of the time..Hip-Hop. You don't need to learn to be violent, it's innate, we're hunter gatherers. You need diversions for kids to stop them stabbing each other out of pure boredom. Like GTA4 or Brighton Rock provide. None of those groups were full of 14 year olds and dont pretend they were. I think that's more due to the breakdown of the family unit and the freedoms that that affords Britains youth. If your single mother was only 14 when she had you herself, she'd have to be a remarkable woman to bring up a well disciplined child, sacrificing her own youth to ensure discipline is upheld. Lord of the flies had the measure of young teenagers back in the early fifties. Left to their own devices they'll eventually start killing each other. This was recognised before xbox's and PS3s and Boys N The Hood.
