Union leaders would have much more knowledge than me and they seem as confused as everyone else, with none of the major unions seeming to have stated any opinion whatsoever so far. it seems logical to me that British citizens hold much more sway than overseas workers bussed in and living in gettos though, whatever protection the EU purports to provide from a distance.

Seems to be a contradiction in the "in" campain here. Someone posted the link to this article arguing against Gove's exit rationale.. https://medium.com/idea-of-europe/why-michael-gove-is-wrong-on-europe-479b50c5f23b#.ch362hjf6 If European law is already so aligned to our values (as the in campain argue) then I don't see a significant worsening of the rights of society. Wouldn't the reduction in free movement of workers from the continent lead to stronger unionised workforces pushing harder for basic rights rather than gratefully accepting whatever conditions they're pushed into? Conditions British workers rarely agree to.

Not that I have faith in him getting in (hence the laugh) but definitely respect his principles and would expect him to lead on this issue with the same principles. The splits in both parties and publicly, as well as the coalitions being formed by far left and right players exemplify the complexity of it and why it shouldn't be in the hands of me or CT.

America's isolationism went well until they ended it to take Europe under it's wing.

A lot of my assumptions about a better Britain are foolhardilly predicated on Corbyn getting in like. Think that's the difficulty with the public being asked to answer the question though. The vast majority wiill decide idealogically on how they would like things to be in a perfect world. And that sometimes conflicts with how things are in reality and what is best given the limitations of the wider situation. Perhaps Corbyn has taken the lesser of 2 evils view himself. Should never have got to a referendum.

I'm in the same boat as you CT. No idea which way to go, or even the best arguments either way. As a lefty I should be able to follow my leaders, but half the left say that we should leave for reasons like this.. and the other half say we have to stay in to limit the worst excesses of the Tories who would be unshackled. Not sure how much I buy the latter scaremongering. Certainly unimpressed by the lack of thinking behind the point that if Bojo and Gove want out we should stay in. Funny in itself, but not really a valid point if Cameron and Osbourne want in, the biggest cunts with the most power. Especially when political alligiances are being formed over this issue for elections to come. Corbyn normally presents his views with facts and ideas well expressed, but in saying he'll campaign to stay in he seems to be using empty rhetoric like "stronger togetrher". Stinks of keeping the right wing of his party onside and picking his battles. So aye, swaying towards out but happy to be corrected on the social benefits of remaining in. Links or thoughts appreciated.

Aye. Valentine. She was worried about missing out on the general sale so I got them on a corporate before sales opened.

aaaah, right, got you. Thought that was Dre, he's the most renowned for not being a writer isn't he?

? The new Kanye West album - the life of Pablo. No more parties in LA has Kendrick on for a verse. Thought it was the best verse on the album until Kanye followed it with his own best on the album.
-
The life of Pablo I like the Kendrick Lamar song.

Misleading in being clearly stated twice? -
BBC had it top story on front page. They said he had admitted one cound and denied 2. Then in the next pargraph listed the 2 counts he'd admitted. Now I can't find it anywhere on the site. Has someone fucked up here? Apart from Johnson. EDIT: here it is, only in the England section now. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-35541528

They were worse than Norwich. I'm not reading too much into it.

Quick, show Shelvey. Something needs to trigger a response.

Totally agree. Was going to write more, with Kendrick in mind, but couldn't get across how I think it's it's musically "meh", but culturally significant. Appropriating Kendrik Lamar (poorly) and selling twice as many records as him follows a white tradition. If he wasn't pointing to that fact in the lyrics, then I'd be less impressed. What you never saw from Elvis or Vanilla Ice was that self-awareness stated explicitly. Nor did those huge stars criticise their own fans for buying their records while avoiding those of the black people they were standing on the shoulders of. Been reading this morning that on Genius some of his fans STILL interpret the lyrics about positive rap being better than gangster rap as genuine rather a clear dig at such a stupid notion that either is doing anything but singing about their life. He's not just taking the culture to sell records about sex and parties (as I assumed he always had), but is writing about the same political & musical ideas as Kendrick or Killer Mike, agreeing with them and berating the white audience that like him who don't agree with all three. I don't know any other white stars with comparable sales who have done anything like that. Is it something Eminem has tackled? It led me to Macklemore's original song White Privelige which is over 10 years old and I think that's just as interesting without any of the political stuff to it. And yes, they're all ideas expressed before that you'd find in a buzz feed think piece... but there's not many teenage boys and girls that limit their musical adventures to the Spotify global top 50 who are going to be exposed to those ideas, as they will now they're on a Macklemore record.

Macklemore just went up in my estimation.

The Good Dinosaur Agree with all the reviews, despite nice water, woods and mountains it's a real turkey. Pixar scraping the sub-standard barrel Dreamworks & Blue Sky wouldn't even get away with. One class bit was really bizarre and came straight out of Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny. Didn't fit at all and aimed squarely at adults rather than kids and the only laugh the film got from me. -
What did you think of Sports Directs sponsorship of NUFC?
