  1. It is a fact that a lengthy comedy court case would do the club no good. Unless Fat Ashley was away by then anyway.
  2. It is pretty hilarious that NUFC's entire defence seems to be "We always told Keegan he had no control over transfers and he knew we were lying to the fans/media through our teeth, in fact he went so far as to join in with those lies. In our opinion he's being a bit of a bad sport taking advantage of our joint public misrepresentation of the situation in order to wangle himself a payoff.... and this time we're telling the truth, honest." Fucktards. Even if that WAS the case, they deserve shitting on from a great height for putting themselves in the position to be (if you will) blackmailed. This is what happens Mike, this is what happens when you fuck 52,000 strangers in the ass!
  3. Unfortunately 19 games of football is all you pay for - there are no attached promises of anything else. ..or 57.
  4. There'll be an archive video of that somewhere. Damning beyond belief in the face of Saturday night's statement from the liars... Maybe Xisco wasn't supposed to be a first team player.
  5. Keegan alienated the press from day 1. No surprise that he's getting negative write ups. I've questioned him myself but all commentators that have been involved in the game themselves seem to have fallen squarely behind Keegan. The only thing I'm sure of now is that it's a shambles from top to bottom, and if (as the club now seem to want to admit in direct contradiction to previous public statements) Keegan was only fourth in command, it's difficult to lay the blame at his feet alone.
  6. Just got back from 70 or so hours flooded in in Wooler with no contact to the outside world, so it's the first I've seen of yesterdays statement. Canny funny like. Just got a text saying Dennis Wise's car got smashed up too, is that right?
  7. Is someone going to join a Hull forum and ask them to join our plight and not buy anything from the stadium?
  8. First game back? Mackems.
  9. So that's 12 matches then, if he's going to put Wise on his back.
  10. looks like the 96-97 kit to be honest I hope he brought a top to wear on the way home.
  11. I always arrive 5 minutes late and buy fuck all so I'm well practised in this protesting malarkey.
  12. That's no reason to get a pint, pie, program, Geordie Jackpot, third strip etc. Bare minimum as far as I'm concerned. Ticket and nowt else.
  13. And this is the majority vote then? Incredible really, the line about watching and supporting the Toon is a birthright is true but doing so at the ground itself will without doubt make no impact what-so-ever. Buying a shirt's a one off for a season as is merchandise, going to the match is a near weekly occurance so nothing much will come of putting a block on goods bought. It seems to me that the majority of Toon fans are happy to go along with pretty much anything, sure they'll moan and groan but they won't do anything about it - all just piss and wind. For shame Completely made up figures, but say.... 30,000 pints = £90,000 5,000 pies = £10,000 25,000 programs = £75,000 Pop, chocolate, chips, Geordie Jackpot etc. It's at least £250K per game, over 18 games we'll be costing them well over £4,000,000 over the season.
  14. .com have picked the bones out of their mailbag...
  15. I vote for Barton to knock Wise clean out.
  16. Nice to see the SSN vultures miserable as fuck stood in the torrential rain today. The way they go out of their way to ask for comments from the must backward, inbred, zinc deficient throwbacks the city has to offer is a disgrace. If they must have a 24 hour coverage of who's walking past the club shop, they should be local reporters and crew who aren't trying to pass the time by amusing themselves asking troglodytes to string together a coherent sentence.
  17. Cheque's in the post within 7 days apparently.
  18. I blame the the pressure of a closing transfer window. What's even the thinking behind the window? Surely it contravenes some freedom of movement in the EU law because I can change companies any day of the year.
  19. Well said. Yes we're in the shite and I feel as bad as you lot but we're better than this. Gotta smile sometime. More like Fish, I say. Bloody animal kingdom, they always stick together.
  20. Graeme Souness: 09/04-02/06 Glenn Roeder: 02/06-05/07 Sam Allardyce: 05/07-01/08 Kevin Keegan: 01/08-09/08 ??????: 09/08 - ????? 5 managers in 31 months. Hoddle Owen likes the bloke. Mates with Wise. Wouldn't say boo to a goose....
  21. Well I appreciate the vote of confidence, but i have no experience whatsoever....and I'd want full control over transfers.
  22. Anyone willing to buy him out would be welcome. So the problem is not so much the money and the business, just that Mike Ashley wouldn't suck the cock of everyones favourite manager. Are you just being contrary for the sake of it btw? I thought it was contrary to complain about the money men ruining football, then hope for another money man to save our skin. I am still coming to terms with my mixed emotions on the matter though. That's fair enough, it's just you had a pop at people who initially suggested it was (at least in part) KK's fault. Did I? Can't remember having a go at anyone, I was postulating he was to blame on Tuesday. I'm all fucked up with the news though Link? I thought you questioned someone who suggested Ashley wasn't to blame. I'm not really interested in searching for the 100+ pages for petty point scoring though (not saying that's what you're doing either). Sorry if you didn't say that. Who gives a fuck tbh? Apologies for being tetchy anyway. No worries, my mood swings are alienating everybody I know. I might have done. I'm questioning every person at the club (or recently departed) and every opinion going. The only ones associated with the club I know who aren't to blame are the fans, and we're the ones to suffer the most, with hardly any information as to what's happened and a club in turmoil once again. I just started welling up in Greggs ffs.
  23. Can you think of any manager of any worth that will put up with not having a say on players in or who they keep? At Barcelona/RM/etc. a decent manager may accept that - we ain't Barcelona/RM/etc.. Does Ramos?
