I can't see 20,000 keeping up a boycott, but even if they or more DID, we'd still be averaging more than Premier league mainstayers like Boro, Blackburn, Fulham, Portsmouth, Bolton etc. It's not something that the majority are on board with, so wouldn't have the desired effect. Taking that commercial wedge almost entirely away though. That's feasible. And it would cost the club more than halving the gate. The majority of supporters will go for it, and none match goers can get on board too.
