Daily From Monday 15 September, 11.30am FREE SCREENINGS It feels like a long time ago, because it was a long time ago! But once upon a time Newcastle United returned to Wembley for their third final in just five years, and, in a keenly contested affair watched by 100,000 inside the stadium, took on the might of Manchester City. The rest is history. This triumph, their sixth FA Cup win, remains the last domestic trophy won by a Newcastle United team in over 50 years. Come along and cheer on the team - ha’way the lads!

That's the one bit I can't translate..... what? It means do one. Fuck off. Ok, cheers, I get the "dee a" part but where does "blaa" come from? Is it its own word like charva or gadgee? southerners would say 'blow'.

I gave the fat twat a grand last month. Can I pick the team? I love the way Leeds are always used as an example of why throwing money around would be a disaster too. As if Chelsea, Man U, Liverpool, Villa and that are undoubtedly on a dangerous path to league 1.

Was it really that Gothic? was only really Wayne Tower and the Monorail that was particularly Gothic in Batman Begins if you ask me. Both of them of Gothic because of the lighting and camera angles. The thing about Batman Begins that a lot of the Action happened at night or "in the narrows", The Dark Knight had the action in day light and on main streets. Seemed like a pointed decision to me to move away from the traditional dark Batman of his first attempt (and moreso the Tim Burton ones) into a more recognisable cosmipolitan city. There's no reason Wayne Mansion and the Batcave couldn't have been rebuilt and used as the base in the latest installment, but he lived in a plush high rise Penthouse and the new batcave was more of a laboratory. It's not a big critism like, just a noticably different (I hate to say it) Mise en scene. He probably wanted to make the comparisons to modern terrorism as pointed as possible so Gotham City had to look as much like any major city as it could to put the viewer in a recognisable location. Artistic license and that. -
ITV should commission Nonces have Got Talent. Roman Polanski would walk it like.

How come Nolan's Gotham City changed from a gothic Metropolis style future (in Batman Begins), to present day Chicago (in The Dark Night)? -
Mind you, Stevie's stance is a bit of a curveball. We should chip in and get him this for his birthday.

Based on what? Based on lots of conspiracies and unexplained events, there's many millions with their eyes open, many billions who are in blissful ignorance. People like the Rockefellers and Rupert Murdoch have as much power as almost anyone on earth, realistically the only way all of the people in the world and all of the governments in the world can be controlled is having one world government, getting rid of entities that don't conform. If you think about it, it's the only possible way we'll all be here in 100 years time, that's how they see it from their point of views. 9/11 could have been a small part of the process, civil liberties are eroded away every few years and the population at large barely notice, it could all be part of the grand plan. That film maker Russo is right what he says in various interviews, "it's intimidating to even say that war on etrror is a fraud." Why do you think that is? You mean Bin Laden chose to inspire widespread Jihad against the Kufr to help build a western dictatorship? I thought it was to destroy it.

That was a problem, but it shouldn't diminish what ultimately is one of the best comedies ever shown on BBC imo. Absolutley. I mean, I'm the Leader of the Gang is a great single too.

It might be distasteful but I don't think your analogy holds up, it's not the same thing. Liverpool are a rival team and there is invariably antipathy between sets of fans, posting something like that would be seen in a different light because of this. The Liverpool references to Munich as an example of rivalry at its most despicable. We are not rivals with America, and there is no long term hatred between the countries and we are not competing with each other (okay you could probably argue this if you could be arsed to) nor scrapping outside eachother's stadiums. I'm not defending the posting, which I recognise as bad taste, I just think a Happy Hillsborough Day posted on another team's football forum would engender, quite rightly, a far more devisive and inflammatory response. Try posting the happy 9/11 pic on the GOPUSA forum.
