  1. Just finished Series 2. Shite first few episodes but i thought it really picked up towards the end. "Did you pack Mr. Muggles' doggie bath?"
  2. I enjoyed Blue Velvet very much. But I've tried starting Eraserhead a couple of times without getting past a few minutes. It's difficult.
  3. The Fountain Was in the Empire top 500 I posted last week, but i've heard lots of bad reviews too. Very pretentious they say. Which I suppose is unsurprising given his other films. Personally I wasn't particularly keen on either of those so I wasn't too fussed on seeing it.
  4. The first line is a bit ott. But the other 2 lines describe exactly how I feel. Come on man, there are better managers out there than KK. This mindset is killing you. We can't attract those managers. Did you not notice Joe Kinnear arrive? Keegan lost 3 in his last 13 games. The only home game he lost was to Chelsea. Since he left we've lost 4. 3 of them at home to Hull, Blackburn and Spurs. If that's not a nosedive, I don't know what is. when you are under new ownership with a transfer kitty, surely you could go out and attract a better manager. Money talks. I'm not deluded enough to think so. I thought Ashley had a bit of money when he got Keegan and courted Redknapp. And I'm not saying that as if to say Keegan would be scraping the barrell either. He's an excellent manager, and far better than a club run like we've been deserve. Miles better than Redknapp.

  6. Bah. I was hoping this was about Stephen Carr.

  8. Good list though. Some amazing omissions.
  9. I once tried to learn Eugene's Trick Back. My interest in playing waned from that day on though. Didn't seem like there was any point to it.
  10. so we sold out 50% of our ties. You? Didn't drop below 20,000 once, you? Only dropped below 30,000 3 times, you?
  11. In the last 10 years... White Hart Lane attendances in the League cup 34,560 Port Vale 35,811 Southend United 35,485 Arsenal 36,100 Liverpool 36,053 West Ham United 31,727 Manchester City 25,307 Middlesbrough 23,723 Cardiff City 20,347 Torquay United 28,340 Bolton Wan 36,100 Chelsea 26,909 Brentford 27,096 Birmingham City 25,486 Crewe Alexandra 22,980 Brentford 35,702 Manchester United 35,997 Wimbledon 19,255 Carlisle United 20,390 Derby County 29,335 Average St James' Park attendances in the League cup 20,577 Spurs 30,523 Barnsley 25,028 Portsmouth 37,406 Chelsea 42,153 Norwich City 38,055 Chelsea 46,932 WBA 34,584 Everton 25,633 Brentford 32,576 Ipswich 37,284 Leyton Orient 41,847 Bradford 34,702 Blackburn 35,856 Hull 33,438 Liverpool 34,439 Average tbh
  12. We were playing torquay. Next Abysmal fans.
  13. Danny man. It's still a higher crowd than Spurs managed for their opening home league cup tie back in 2001. 20,347 at home? We've got a fat fucker killing our club, what was your excuse?
  14. I was merely pointing out that our attendences have not been affected by our form and that however you dress it up, the performance of your fans last Wednesday was at best abysmal. Fifth highest attendance in the third round wasn't it? And according to your argument Man U and Arsenal don't count because they have larger capacities. So Liverpool and Villa beat us. Two teams currently doing a lot better than most would have expected.
  15. Yup. Thats the point many seems to (conveniently) miss. The crowd (mostly) is low due to people staying away to make a point to the owner / hierarchy and not because of whats happening on field which is usually the cause of low attendance. If it were the latter, we'd have been f*cked long ago But crowds were down before KK quit. Not really sure that rings true, only 47K at the Bolton game IIRC. With a free beer chucked in. He never said anything about Keegan.
  16. Beeb Can a bid be accepted from an anonymous party? Aren't there premier league rules about club owners being upstanding citizens.
  17. There's a happy medium though. Is there still a section for the chaiman's thoughts in the program? I guess not.
  18. Better than hiding from me I guess Like you've been hiding from this place the last few weeks until after the cup game? Hiding probably isnt the right word. Did I make some sort of horrible Anne Frank related faux pas just then?
  19. Remember how much we used to bitterly complain about how Freddy Shepherd couldn't keep his mouth shut until a deal was done.
  20. Better than hiding from me I guess Like you've been hiding from this place the last few weeks until after the cup game?
  21. Girl Talk - Feed The Animals Can't get enough of it.
  22. The Pianist Always turns my stomach to see the bloke in the wheelchair hoyed out the window.
  23. Saving it for the book deal. Why would he talk to the press with the shit they gave him.
  24. First Keegan and now Paddy's missus. Why do the people Toontasticers love keep walking out on us?
