Wenger's got loads to spend, so has Ferguson. The fact remains Ferguson has done better than Wenger. They aren't running small clubs and competing against someone like Dario Grady. Also, Ferguson has shown he can take on a top coach like Mourinho, with more money, and ultimately still emerge on top. Didn't Mourinho come out on top until Abramovich started interfering? So Ferguson's arguably better at dealing with chairmen / owners. Not really my main point anyway but Ferguson is strong in every respect - handling lots of money, lots of pressure, dealiong with the boardroom, the mind games, man-management (in a way that works for him anyway) etc. etc. and above all - winning things. That's why he's the best. My point is that unless it's a level playing field it's stupid to say he's the best. I don't think that NUSC will affect Ashley's actions in any way whatsoever. Are you saying it should be scrapped then? I'm not saying Ashley has to sit in a room and be made to listen, just that the NUSC should publicly show they have the best interest of the club at heart and come up with constructive ideas to move us forward. Continuing to stamp our feet and refusing to budge on Ashley's tenure is strangling the life out of the club.

We got the pints in at half time on Tuesday and the bar was heaving.
